Some things are uncertain and we may be in for a couple of surprises 😬😅

Issue Nr.01 - The Captain ©️ 🔽 Usually (in #UCLFantasy) we are able to make a captain change each day.

The rules here suggest only 1 change may be possible. I'm not entirely sure this is the case though.

Could we be able to change the 2nd ©️ "once more" as well 🤔

After going through all the #WorldCupFantasy teams, I'll now go through each position, starting with defenders 🛡

🇳🇱 Dumfries (6.0m)
1st up on my list, he'll certainly be in a lot of teams despite his premium price. Scored twice ⚽️ at the Euro and has the group to deliver again. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Trippier (5.0m)
Looks like the favourite to start at RB for now, and offers attacking threat (also from set pieces) in an easy looking group.

🇦🇷 Otamendi (5.0m)
Also a cheap starter with favourable fixtures & goal threat from set pieces/corners. Faces Saudi-A in the 1st game.

England came close to 🏆 glory in 2018 & at last summers Euro, and definitely have the group to be a great source of fantasy points.

#FPLCommunity In goal, Pickford (5.5m) is very likely to start once again. Pope (4.0m) looks 2nd in line, his price would have made him incredible value 🥲

At LB/LWB Shaw (5.0m) should start with Trippier (5.0m) being the favoured option on the right side.

Let's now have a look 🔎 at the #WorldCupFantasy options from... Mexico! 🇲🇽

Mexico, who beat Germany at the last World Cup, will face Poland in their opening game. A game that is hugely important for their chances in Group C.

#FPLCommunity In goal, once again, Ochoa (5.0m) will be the prefered starter. He has shown quite some heroics at past tournaments, but it's probably better to look elsewhere.

At full back, Gallardo (4.5m) and K.Alvarez (no price yet) seem to be the starters, but they're looking like risky...

Before I'll have a scan through the most promising #UCLFantasy forwards, I'll now have a look at chip strategies.

The way the fixtures have fallen, there's no obvious best strategy, making things quite interesting.

Probably the most common strategy.

The big pro with this one is we can field a strong MD1 team without having to plan for MD2 etc.
WC3 is very powerful as well as MD3+4 consists of the same (very easy in some cases) set of fixtures.

🇪🇬 Salah €11.0m - Tricky to afford with all the pricey picks up front, but a kind group for the #FPL legend.
🇨🇴 Diaz €9.0m - The cheaper alternative, but more rotation risk once Jota is back.

#FPLCommunity 🇧🇪 de Bruyne €10.5m - A great start to the season for KDB & City, but a tricky trip to Sevilla. Should do really well in this group though.

🇰🇷 Son €10.5m - No goals so far this season, but #UCL MD1 sounds like a good opportunity to change that. Differential captain option.

🛡 Defenders

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 TAA €6.5m - Already a #FPL legend, he comes in at a premium price. Even though Liverpool look leaky atm, his attacking potential may well be worth it once again.

🇳🇱 Ake €4.5m (rotation) or 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Walker €5.5m could offer cheaper alternatives here.

🇩🇪 Hitz €4.1m - Dortmund not in great shape and he has produced a couple of errors in the last weeks. Should start if Bürki 🚑 remains out.

Appear to be in much better shape than at the start of the season and are now unbeaten in 11 La Liga games (9 wins, 2 draws) 🔥 Griezmann looks like one of their in form assets atm. Araujo (€3.8m) missed the last game through injury 🚑 but returned to training and might start v PSG.

Porto 🇵🇹
Rested a few players (Diaz, Mbemba, Uribe).
Oliveira (€6.7m mid) and Taremi (€6.6m fwd) who already looked like their best options scored the goals in a 2-2 draw ⚽️
