He was called #Vamana because he was dwarf in form at the beginning. While suppressing the pride & vanity of King Bali, He was called #Thrivikrama when He grew to a gigantic size & conquered the 3 worlds ( Earth, Upper worlds & Nether worlds) with just three paces of his foot.++

He was born in on September 5th 1888 at a place called Tiruttani (Tamilnadu) and his mother tongue was Telugu. He died in the year 1975 at the age of 87. He was honoured with several awards including Bharat Ratna.+
