Are largest shareholders of Salem Media Group, parent company of @Regnery, publisher of Dinesh D’Souza’s recalled book 2000 Mules concerned about potential liability risk? $SALM #2000Mules#riskmanagement#CorpGov
Salem Media Group is deceiving its shareholders. $SALM announced lower earnings due to “postponement” of 2000 Mules book by @DineshDSouza. Fact: Publisher @Regnery issued a FULL RECALL of the book due to unspecified “publishing error.” Far more #risk and cost. @SECGov#2000Mules
Salem Media Group is deceiving its shareholders. @Regnery president told @NPR that “some advance copies” of ‘2000 Mules’ book were recalled. Fact: Publisher issued full recall — far greater cost. Are $SALM shareholders informed of #risk? #2000Mules#CorpGov@SECGov@GaryGensler
Screenshot of publisher's notice to book distributor for Walmart. FULL RECALL of Dinesh D'Souza's '2000 Mules' book.
And spokesperson for Barnes & Noble emailed me:
"We can confirm that the publisher did notify us of the recall and for all books to be removed." #2000Mules
I obtained a copy of recalled version of Dinesh D’Souza’s ‘2000 Mules’ book. Publication page clearly indicates this is not an “advance copy.” It is a first edition, first print run. Very costly to recall and reprint, re-distribute. Who paid for the recall? #2000Mules
🚨NEW: Publisher of @DineshDSouza's book 2000 MULES has issued a FULL RECALL. I received this image from a book vendor for Walmart. The book's election fraud premise has been widely debunked.
I've asked publisher @Regnery why it issued the full recall. Will report. #Publishing
“'My opinion then and my opinion now is that the election was not stolen by fraud,' Barr said. 'And I haven’t seen anything since the election that changes my mind on that, including the ‘2000 Mules’ movie.'” @revealrevealnews.org/article/true-t…
@Regnery's "list of authors reads like a 'who’s who' of conservative thought and action, including Ann Coulter, David Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, Dinesh D’Souza, Newt Gingrich, Mark Steyn, Mark Levin, Ed Klein, David Horowitz, Laura Ingraham, Donald Trump"
Charles Schwab, founder of @CharlesSchwab donated $36,500 to the Republican National Committee in July. Chuck gave $1 million to GOP super PACs affiliated with Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy in June.
"The Lincoln Project, a group of anti-Trump conservatives, had featured Schwab in a recent campaign highlighting companies that donated to President Trump or the election objectors in Congress."
Charles R. Schwab is chairman of @CharlesSchwab. He still owns about 7% of its stock. He is "the single biggest contributor so far this cycle to the McCarthy Victory Fund, a PAC supporting McCarthy. He donated more than $366,000 in March"
I have reached out to $FOX Corp. Chief Communications Officer Brian Nick to ask about Brian Kilmeade using an apparently photoshopped image of the judge involved in approving the Mar-a-Lago warrant. #CorpGov
Whole Foods CEO John Mackey to retire. In 2015, the New York Times reported that Mackey was board chair of spiritual guru Marc Gafni’s nonprofit. Gafni had been accused of sexually molesting underage girls. Mackey protected him. theguardian.com/business/2022/…
"A co-founder of Whole Foods, John Mackey, a proponent of conscious capitalism, calls Mr. [Marc] Gafni 'a bold visionary.' He is a chairman of the executive board of Mr. Gafni’s center, and he hosts board meetings at his Texas ranch." nytimes.com/2015/12/26/us/…
Whole Foods blocked me some time ago for following up on CEO John Mackey's association with Marc Gafni.
