3) for those asking, I got the 30 mcg Pfizer shot—it was the only option within 30 miles today. But I had the Moderna booster last November 2021. While Moderna is slightly higher 50 mcg booster dose, switching it up is generally good too.
4) I got my shot in a more rural area - albeit a small city. Nobody was wearing masks, not even some of the pharmacists, and the other one was just wearing a surgical. And there was no lines—and they had tons of appt slots. I’m worried rural US just isn’t getting the booster.
5) Come to the US for #BA5/4 bivalent booster if you are non-US resident—just fly to the US to get it. Appointments are plentiful at various pharmacy retail chains like CVS Walgreens RiteAid, etc. You don’t any ID or any insurance at all! Come before 2023–insurance needed then.
6) Switching questions— First of all, just get whichever available first/easier. But if you had a choice, maybe switch. But honestly with the new bivalent—the main difference is now the new BA5 variant formulation. That said, Moderna is slightly higher dose than Pfizer.
7) Annnnd I just got body shamed for posting a photo encouraging people to get boosted. This world, I tell ya.
8) UPDATE—a day after Pfizer booster (previously P-P-M then C), I’m feeling great. Only small sniffle before going to bed. Woke up no symptoms. Sore deltoid almost gone. Super easy—no night time shivers like I had after my 1st booster. Get bivalent boosted folks! Again it’s free!
9) COVID is not fun. Even for healthy young adults like @DoYouEvenLif. Get boosted with the #Ba5 vaccine while #Ba5 is widely circulating.

P.s. I apologize to anyone out there that this epidemiologist has aged somewhat since his 20s. Didn’t you know epidemiologists are just like actors is like Hollywood? …once you’re over 35, studios & journals think your career is like over.

Caught on tape—so, @paulpowlesland went to Parliament Square & held up a BLANK piece of paper. 🇬🇧 police officer threatens that if he wrote “Not My King” on it—officer would arrest him because someone might be offended. Excuse me—that’s what Russia🇷🇺 does.

Whoa—total EXCESS DEATHS to date across Europe* in 2022 now 📌exceeds both 2021 and 2020 at the same point! 👀 Unlike spikes—seems 2022 deaths are just steadily climbing—now passing prior pandemic years like tortoise 🐢 vs the hare 🐇. Worrisome.

Worse… the excess death rate in 2022 in kids age 0-14 is now 10x higher this past week 35 than versus same week in 2021.
No anti-vaxxers please. The excess deaths cause is mostly from #COVID19. Many many studies show this. It’s not vaccines.
