Hello everyone! Thank you all SO MUCH for your support, and for pushing FIENDISH #2 to 100K! Now that we have hit 100K, it's time to announce the details of the FIENDISH fanart contest!
More details in 🧵and on IGG 👇 indiegogo.com/projects/fiend…
I'm looking for one finished illustration of any of the characters, creatures, or environments of FIENDISH.
👉The winner will win $400 USD and be printed in FIENDISH #2, and two runner ups will win $50.
🚨Please make sure your artwork is 6.88x10.44" and ≥300dpi!🚨
If the final artwork is smaller than specified, it cannot be printed and will be disqualified.
Submissions are also limited to one piece per person, please!
Feel free to flex your own style! However, please keep designs close to the book. (i.e. You can draw Kazimir as pixel art but his haircut should be the same.)
If you haven't read Chapter 1, there is plenty of reference material on the FIENDISH website: FIENDISHCOMIC.COM
Thank you again for your support! I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody's work!
Good luck!!! 😍😍🤗🤗🖤🖤🖤
#TheRingsOfPower ep 1-2 thoughts:
Even trying to watch it without my preconceived notions as a Tolkien fan, the show just unfortunately came across as pretty, but generic and boring.
I don't care about anybody. I don't feel compelled to watch any more of it.
Like many other works, the studio seemed so preoccupied with inserting the "right" formulas that they *think* will grab the audience's attention, that they forgot the basics: building relatable characters and telling a focused story.
P.S. I'm going to review this without talking about black dwarves and elves with fades, because there's plenty else to critique. Trust me.
Let's be clear about one thing.
If you weren't there to support me while I was in the trenches, for years, trying to get my dream project off the ground, then you have no right to tell me what to do or who I promote my book with.
If you consider someone a friend, then you wouldn't be silent for YEARS, only to message them with veiled threats just as their dream project is coming true.
When you respect someone, you don't try to ruin them over simply speaking to people you don't like.
"Supporting minorities, women, and immigrants" my ass.
I'm all of those things but there's only one type of person who's trying to tell me what I can or can't do.
Let's take a step back and look at who the real close-minded bullies are, shall we?
