Allowing girls to wear hijab to school may be viewed as an opportunity for children to learn about India's "diversity", the #SupremeCourtOfIndia says.

Do children of yesteryears (today's adults) have no idea of diversity, as they didn't witness this circus in their classrooms?
Foresee the cascading effect if this observation shapes the verdict. Different groups will demand their respective attires be accepted in school. The argument that their scriptures don't mandate it won't hold because that was not the basis in the #hijab case either.
The advocates of #hijab furthered frivolous arguments like ghoonghat, which no Hindu scripture demands.

If the SCI's own interjection, asking whether the right to dress included that to undress, was serious, will a Jarawa child be allowed to come to school naked?
In any case, scripture or no scripture, no girl child has ever pulled a ghoonghat on her head inside a school. No Hindu demanded appreciation of this "diversity" either.

Initial hearings of the case in the #SupremeCourtOfIndia were promising. Seems they lost it subsequently.

Another Sadhguru gem.

I desist from guru ninda, which includes ninda of others' gurus, but this man isn't one. The fall of the man with a gift of the gab is irreversible. From Arya Rama defeating Dravida Ravana to Yashoda as Krishna's lover to Yoga isn't Hindu to Ali Maula… Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev: Ano...
In 2016, I, along with a few peers, met some intelligence officials who had confided in us that the global leftist cabal, disturbed by the formation of a regime supported by several gurus, was struck by this idea that their trademark atheism and disdain for indigenous culture…
… would fail to move a religious India. So they devised a strategy of fighting gurus with a new-age guru who would initially attract the crowds with clever talks and then confuse them. After ensuring a big following, Sadhguru thus began dividing Hindu society with such remarks…

There were issues even with state control. State governments would appoint Muslim ministers to adjudicate in waqf matters (like minority affairs ministers). While all waqf boards are thoroughly corrupt, the solution cannot be government intervention. The law must be repealed…
… the Waqf Act 1954, amended in 1995, goes against the spirit of strict secularism (separation of religion and state) too. It is letting a religion (Islam) decide the fate of a property. It is inspired by the Ottoman Turk law, meaning we must bear with a mediaeval regime…
… In this regard, Ashwini Upadhyay's PIL is misplaced too. He asked the Supreme Court why a similar law does not exist for Hindus. If accepted, it would mean a board deciding the management of temples. Why cannot we IQ-challenged socialist Indians think beyond sarkari solutions?

Shocked to know that a person I had interviewed in 2013 in the course of helping a journalist-activist friend write a biography of Narendra Modi, whom the then Gujarat CM and current Indian PM follows on Twitter, is a terror suspect.

Asma Khan Pathan's story follows:
I happen to know Asma Khan Pathan. There is a reason behind the prime minister following her. Her entire family was a traditional supporter of the Congress. During the 2002 riots, her brother-in-law had been untraceable for about two days…

[News of yesterday attached] Desh Gujarat's news report
… The family was worried he had been killed. Asma left home, sporting sindur on her forehead to look like a Hindu woman, and went to the local police station to lodge a complaint. There, she alleged during the interview with us, she saw the then-Congress MP of the constituency…

Don't stop him and see Hosni Mubarak replaced by Mahmud Morsi in India.

That's what Ford Foundation-sponsored activists do worldwide.

CC: @madhukishwar
Hosni Mubarak was considered a moderate, progressive ruler of Egypt (as was Muammar Gaddafi of Libya and Saddam Hussein of Iraq). The US sponsored a rebellion in that country that helped extremist Muslim Brotherhood seize power; …
… they made their dedicated comrade Mahmud Morsi the next ruler of Egypt.

They ruined Tunisia similarly.

Pentagon-sponsored activists have devastated the economy of Brazil. People no longer speak of BRICS…

Hardeep Singh Puri did not slip up. If he had, he would have deleted his tweet about Rohingyas. Those two tweets are still there.

#Rohingya

Thread begins…
Both Puri's assertion and the MHA clarification are correct. The MHA used the adjective "illegal" before refugees, who it said would not be given state privileges but instead be kept in detention centres until their deportation, which implies… Hardeep Singh Puri's tweetMHA clarification
… that there are legal #Rohingya refugees too, whom Puri's tweets had referred to — without his feeling the need to precede the word "refugee" with "legal".

However, there is a problem. India is not a signatory to the UN Refugee Convention of 1951. So…
