There's some question of how quickly the Brunt Ice Shelf will collapse, but based on the change from August 28th to September 21st above, things are likely accelerating. earthobservatory.nasa.gov/images/147799/…

Time lapse of this area since January of 2022. (Sentinel-1 satellite). You can see the crack growing on the upper part, and the whole ice shelf shifting left. Mass of ice on the right seems to be on the move, too. Brunt Ice Shelf.

Interestingly, there is an island that is peeling off icebergs up here. Island does not move, bits of iceberg being peeled off as the ice shelf slides through h/t @kosmi64833127
