Long 🧵 that misrepresents the arrest of #MarkHouck. The fact of why Houck was arrested comes in midpoint🔻. Greg Price refers repeatedly to Houck "sidewalk counseling" outside Planned Parenthood in Philly by which he means illegally terrorizing women & girls seeking healthcare.

Mark Houck sounds 6 to 8 hours --HOURS--forcing his religious beliefs on women and girls outside Philly's Planned Parenthood clinics. He and his son corner his victims and tell them they are committing murder and taking an innocent life. They are not doing "counseling."

Mark Houck is not a counselor. Nor is his son. He is a religious zealots with 7 kids who wants women and girls forced to carry pregnancies they do not want to or cannot carry. This is not his business. His First Amendment rights end at the curb. THIS is why he was arrested.

Mark Houck also physically assaulted a 72yr old Planned Parenthood escort on two occasions, knocking the man to the ground when he was escorting women into and out of the Philly PP clinic. It was the assaults--videotaped by the clinic's cameras--that led to the arrest.

My office used to be around the corner from this Planned Parenthood clinic and I'd see these anti-abortion zealots trying to interfere with women and girls going into the clinic. Seeking an abortion is difficult enough. These zealots terrorizing those people is harmful.

Imagine taking your kid to stand outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in a city an hour's drive from your house to threaten women and girls for SIX TO EIGHT HOURS a day. That's what Mark Houck did for 20yrs and until he became physically violent with a man,no one stopped him.

The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act was signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1994, so it is nearly 30yrs old --not a new law for Biden to attack his political enemies, as Greg Price claims in his misleading thread on Mark Houck.

Greg Price asserts Mark Houck's arrest at his home on Friday morning was "scary and traumatic" for his family. For 20yrs Houck has been driving from ⬜ Kintersville to majority Black Philly to traumatize women and girls outside Planned Parenthood for 6 to 8 hours a day.
