It was not a Hindu-Muslim dispute in #Leicester. It was Ind vs Pak. The violence began on Aug 28 after Ind defeated Pak in a T20 match. British Muslims of Asian origin snatched the Indian flag and desecrated it, resulting in clashes between anti-India and pro-Pakistan elements.
On Sep 4, Pakistan won the match and almost 10,000 youth joined in from Birmingham. Charged Muslims assembled in a stadium and declared ‘Islam is in danger’. This slogan is a euphemism for declaring a war against non- Muslims by the believers.
Violence against '#Kafirs' followed and continued unabated for days. The current dispute which started with an insult to tricolour, ended in Hindu-Muslim clashes and desecration of temples. #Leicester #Birmingham #LeicesterHindusAttacked
Islamists sent threatening messages to "clean Hindus from Leicester just like they had from Kashmir". One masked protester said: '...message to the BJP and the RSS Hindutva supporters, you're not welcome in Birmingham, you're not welcome in Leicester... anywhere in the UK.'

With the last batch of 55 Hindus and Sikhs landing in Delhi Sunday last, only 43 of them are left in Afghanistan. A thousand year back, Afghanistan was a thriving center of Hinduism and Buddhism.
Subsequently, successful Islamic invasions in Afghanistan followed by forced conversions to Islam, brought down the number of Hindu-Sikhs to an estimated seven lakhs by 1970s. The two communities have become nearly extinct during the lifetime of many of us! Why and how?
After the entry of Islam in Kashmir, persecution of Hindus and Buddhists, had reduced their numbers to a mere five percent of the total population of the valley by 1980s. Even that tiny minority was perceived as a threat to the pristine glory of Islam by Jihadist.

भारत को जख्मी केवल औरंगेजब ने ही नहीं किया। इस जैसे कई इस्लामी आक्रांता थे, जिन्होंने 'काफिर-कुफ्र' अवधारणा से प्रेरित होकर स्थानीय हिंदुओं, बौद्ध-जैन अनुचरों और सिखों को 'मौत या इस्लाम' में से कोई एक चुनने का विकल्प दिया। यह चिंतन आज विश्व शांति के लिए चुनौती बनी हुई है।
वर्ष 712 में जब अरब आक्रांता मोहम्मद बिन कासिम ने सिंध पर हमला करके राजा-दाहिर को परास्त किया, तब उसने गैर-मुस्लिमों को 'जिम्मी/धिम्मी' घोषित करके उनपर शरीयत अनुरूप जीवित रहने हेतु कर (ज़जिया) थोप दिया। इसे कालांतर में कई इस्लामी आक्रांताओं ने लागू किया।
इस घृणा प्रेरित जिहाद को महमूद गजनवी, मुहम्मद गोरी से लेकर गुलाम इस्लामी वंशों आदि ने आगे बढ़ाया। जब बाबर का सामना मेवाड़ शासक राणा सांगा के शौर्य और उनके विशाल सैन्यबल से हुआ, तब उसने अपनी दुर्बल सेना को 'काफिर' हिंदुओं से 'इस्लाम की रक्षा' हेतु जिहाद के लिए प्रेरित किया था।

Kanhaiya Kumar was a member of the National Executive Council of CPI. Communism has failed the world over. In India, its past is punctuated with betrayals against India. During the quit India Movement, CPI collaborated with the colonial rulers and spied against freedom fighters.

Recently writing in a multi-edition, national English daily, #ManiShankarAiyar, another senior Cong leader observed, "...it is the Gandhis who together constitute the glue, or the bonding adhesive, that keeps the partly together and gives it an all India profile.”
Reports enemating from the 'Shivir' clearly suggest that most of the delegates rejected the G23 line and were with Antony-Aiyar on the leadership issue.
