The Bishops who have signed the (letter? document?) unnamed (unless it is: "The Church of England's Doctrine of Marriage" full stop), undated document 📄 on Straight Supremist Marriage
On one level, it is nice (?) to FINALLY have CLARITY which is one of the central demands of LGBTQI+ people in the #churchofengland. Tell us where we are Safe. Tell us where we are not. Step out. Be brave. They have been. (congrats, finally)

On February 1st, thousands of workers are taking strike action against the Tories’ Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill, & against the destruction of education & health as well as for a wage that protects from the #CostOfLivingCrisis.
This is the first time since the 2011 N30 pensions strike that so many unions have taken action together.

In #Leicester, the March and rally appears to be taking the same form that it took in 2011. A march through the town centre, & a rally at the Athena Events Venue. I was at that march & rally, and filmed it.

@AyoCaesar looks at #Leicester. There are some good points. Undermined by sloppy research.

She quotes @AmritWilson who waded into the debate pushing the RSS Bus hoax. Hasn't retracted it. @ainajkhan debunked it.

Data proving, "Hinduphobia" available.
Hinduphobia is used by right-wing political figures and activists as a shield. That's true. But much like Islamophobia it does exist. It's a reality.

@ncri_io shows that anti-Hindu slogans were used. Bigotry from the Hindu side too. They have the data.…
@AyoCaesar also leaves out the Muslim agitators who were using anti-Hindu language and hoaxes.

Communalism is bad for Hindus and Muslims. A poor attempt by Ash to bring the issue into light.

Communalism is a real. Trying to argue Hinduphobia doesn't exist won't help.

@ncri_io has a new report out on #Leicester unrest.

It opens with an acknowledgement that cricket related violence happened in 2017, but that the recent escalation was unique.

@guardian @nytimes come under fire lack of due diligence on Majid Freeman.
"As the events in Leicester took shape, NCRI analysis also found coordinated activity coming from self-identified Indian accounts amplifying
blame, ethnic distrust, and accusations against the Muslim community and Islam as a tradition."

Nobody comes out of it smelling of roses.
The Angel Tours-RSS hoax was the also looked at.

The @HJS_Org report is out into the unrest in #Leicester by @CharlotteFLit. It's excellent.

The sophisticated RSS-Bus hoax that was debunked by @ainajkhan was compared with Muslim activists car pooling. No Hindutva or RSS involvement.
Investigations did not find #Hindutva extremist organisations operating in #Leicester.
I agree with most of @CharlotteFLit conclusions.

#Leicester has been in special measures by the security services for years. PREVENT and @leicspolice teams are well aware of Leicester's unique role in European Islamist politics.

Norman Khan is a primary organiser of #Leicester. Here are the people he invited to attack Hindus.
Contra to media & other reports NOBODY knew Hindus were protesting. This organising is purely due to the lie that a Hindu man tried to abduct a Muslim girl. @leicspolice @BrumPolice
Happy Birthday Lion of Brum. Many happy returns hopefully in prison brother.

It is not often that #Hindus congregate in such large numbers. The fear of ethnic cleansing in #LeicesterCity has scarred the highly educated & professional community. 2/m

Pak's Sahar Habib Ghazi, journo for Vice News, did a hit job on #Hindus on #Leicester violence. She has used 'experts' & fake news to blame #Hindus. A hit job on the lines of NYT, the Guradian and BBC. Here it goes......
The first expert quoted in the article is SHockat Adam Patel from MEND. @HJS_Org has flagged MEND as "Islamists masquerading as Civlil libertarians". Patel was also quoted by NYT article on #Leicester. MEND, SASG, HfHR, IAMC, THP are all #Hinduphobic putting forth Jamat ideology.
Here is our thread on MEND. We did it immodestly after #Leicester anti-Hindu violence.

1. Dr. Chris Allen has been appointed lead for an 'independent review' into #Leicester violence. Who is Dr. Allen? Dr. Allen is a Professor who researches on Islamophobia. In an article for The Conversation UK, Dr. Allen already blames #Hindu nationalists for the violence.
2. In the article, Dr.Allen says there is no evidence of involvement of Islamists but readily blamed #Hindutva, even so far as saying it has been 'imported' into the UK from 2014 onwards. He ends with saying Hindutva influence in UK cannot be overlooked.
3. Dr. Chris Allen was involved in developing the working definition of Islamophobia by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims. He was also on various govt bodies of Islamophobia, anti-Muslim hate, and Commission on Islam.

OpIndia is notorious for publishing toxic content like this. Now the Guardian is having to appeal to them to end their public attacks on a respected Guardian reporter.

If you work in advertising, today would be a good day to exclude from your online ads:
"Spreading hatred against Muslims within the majority community is what was happening there... I quit. I did not become a journalist to spread hatred" - ex OpIndia employee…
Hi @Uk_vikingdirect - we're sorry to say that your advertising has shown up on the notorious toxic website - you can easily fix that by excluding them as outlined here:…

Thread on Kier Starmer denouncing #Hinduphobia @scroll_in

If you were unlucky enough to read this & are not keeping up with disinformation campaigns, you might think Kier Starmer just called out a mirage of anti-Hindu hate in the UK & BJP IT Cell fabricated it all from India.
Apparently "experts" told @TRF that 'incendiary tweets' were all in fact coming from India. Who are the experts? If you follow the link to another scroll article, they are 'a spokesperson at Logically', a fact checking site with comments of @CityMayorLeic and @LPCityCentre
What were those 'incendiary tweets' about? They were about a 'Muslim girl getting kidnapped' and a 'Hindu temple' that led to the 'fighting'. And that this 'social media storm' was 'mostly cooked up a continent away'...
