"You neee to calm yourself down first, Tae. He's fin—"

"He's lying on that sick hospital bed after a panic attack, hyung! Don't fuc—" Taehyung took a deep breath, reminding himself to not spew out curses at Yoongi. "Just tell me, please..."
"The company," The older started. "It's facing losses. To put it more simply, the investors are withdrawing back the deals because of the changes that Jungkook has been making recently. The stocks are falling, board members are losing their trust. And all of it has just taken
a toll on Kook. You know how he started this company from the bottom, Tae, and if it goes on at this pace he may have to shut it down completely."

The news fell like a drop of mountain at Taehyung and he felt his throat clogging up.
"He /loves/ the company, hyung." Taehyung voiced desperately. "He
can't — shit! All those meetings with investors were... Oh god!

Taehyung rose up from the floor, frantically pacing around while pushing back his hair.

"I told him... I should have know. On god I—"
"Taehyung stop!" Yoongi's voice boomed around the washroom before he held gripped the model's shoulders, intense eyes fixed at him. "Stop thinking anything right now. There's..." He sighed. "There's much more we need to talk about. But not here. I suggest you eat something first"
"No. Hyung he—"

"I /insist/ you eat something first. Its not up for debate, yeah? You've been going around doing all the required hospital documentation formalities for hours now. We eat and then talk."

Biting his lower lip, Taehyung agreed.
It didn't take much long for Taehyung to dump in whatever the hospital canteen served them. His appetite was long lost anyways.

It was after affirming that Jungkook was now in a talk with his therapist that Taehyung found himself in the park inside hospital premises with Yoongi.
It wasn't particularly winter season but the gentle breeze that occassionally brushed past his skin made Taehyung shiver a bit.

"He loves you." Yoongi said, walking with his gaze now set on the setting sun, the orange hue pleasing his sight and reminding him of Jimin.
Jimin, the guy who was now on his way to Alaska.

Jimin, whom he broke up with last night.

Jimin, whom he loved so much.

Yoongi took in the sight of Taehyung again and wondered if that's how Jimin must be looking right now. Suffering alone with insecurities.
(Since no one answered and I'm pretty lazy, lets collectively pretend it hasn't yet been an year since their marriage.)
They both walked silently for a while, each caught up in their own web of thoughts before Taehyung spoke up.

"Our first anniversary is next month, hyung." There was a small smile playing on Taehyung's lips as he watched a little girl running behind her mother, trying to catch up
"I had," He turned his eyes away from the scene, feeling the familiar stinging coming back. "I had plans to adopt a kid with Jungkook. A girl, five years old. She—" Taehyung cut himself off, gulping down the uneasy heaviness in his throat. "Ailiseu. It means Iris you know.
"She's pretty. So so pretty that I couldn't keep my eyes off her tiny frame when we first met. Her legs... She uses a wheelchair ever since the people at orphanage realised her legs aren't strong enough to support her body weight. The treatment is being done but," He stopped on
his tracks, bright glistening eyes turning towards Yoongi. "I wanted to give her a family, one with me and Jungkook in it. I was so sure Jungkook would love her, he loves all kids. I just—"

"He'll obviously love her too, Tae. More than anyone else, I'm sure."
"But that's not the point anymore. He's... He's already going through so much and adopting a child is such a big responsibility. Plus," Taehyung chuckled, humor far from it. "He most probably wants a di—"
"He doesn't!" Yoongi interrupted. "Trust me, Tae. Of all that he wants from life, being away from you is never on that list."

"He refused to see me after waking up today."

The smile on the model's face was so painful to watch. So Yoongi fixed his eyes back on the sky.

Jimin.
"He needs space. That's all."

"Yeah, sure."

The silence streched between them once again, this time much more uncomfortable.

"I don't understand why won't you just tell me what the whole matter is." The impatience was clearly making an appearance in Taehyung's voice now.
Yoongi sighed before gesturing to a nearby bench. Taehyung simply shook his head, walking further away.

"Tae, why don't you listen for once!?"

"Oh?" He stopped abruptly and turned around. "How about because all of you treat me like I'm a kid who shouldn't be told about
stuff that's going on with everyone? So I better act like one, no? Since none of you behave around me like I'm an independent adult I better stop behaving like one!"

Taehyung's hands were now fisted, his lower lips wobbling before looked away from Yoongi, continuing on his walk.
"He thinks he doesn't fit with you!"

Taehyung stopped, breath hitching.

What?

Oh this must be a joke, right?

Right?

"He thinks he's bringing down your reputation by being an unsuccessful businessman and that you don't deserve that after all your hardwork"
"Something happened, right? There's no one Jungkook could ever think that! Stop looking away, hyung!"

"Its not my place to tell..."

Yoongi closed his eyes when Taehyung stayed silent. He waited for something, a harsh comment or a silent blow. But nothing came.
Instead Taehyung simply walked past him, a whispered mumble left behind.

"𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒. 𝑆𝑜 𝐼 𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝐼'𝑙𝑙 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑚 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑠." Image

Taehyung flipped through their wedding album, trying to to look for at least one expression in Jungkook's which would have given away the fact that Jungkook wasn't happy.

But there was none, not even a picture where those galaxies weren't shining in the younger's eyes.
Sniffling silently Taehyung shifted his gaze to the man sleeping on the hospital bed, the once pale skin now Slow regaining its healthy colour.

Surely, Taehyung has been the one to stay with Jungkook for the night but despite being in the same room they didn't talk much.
Precise to say, they didn't talk at all.

Jungkook loves Taehyung.

It was a fact that the elder would believe no matter what circumstances he'd be put into. To Jungkook, Taehyung was the only definition of love and the younger one had never been shy to express this.
But right now, sitting on the expensive private medical room couch yet only wanting to lay in Jungkook's arms to find comfort, Taehyung once again wondered if this love was enough. Because look at them.

They were in love, weren't they?
So madly that despite both stepping new into their careers they decided to tie down together into a marriage, with full hopes of having each other's back. Taehyung knew Jungkook came with tons of reponsibilities of his career on those shoulders and yet the thought was never scary
Marrying Jungkook, despite it being Taehyung's best decision, was the most risky step he had ever taken in his life. With Jungkook's company just getting recognition in the industrial market, it didn't assure them any financial stability.
Sure, he was a successful model, but the career he was in never crashed down with prior notice. He was getting a good amount of photoshoots, yes, but at that point none of those were any nation wide recognised companies.
Yet Taehyung found himself holding Jungkook's hand through this journey, exchanging promises of forever walking together.

Then what changed? He doesn't know.
He doesn't know when Jungkook went from ranting about his exhausting day to simply describing its events after coming back from office.

He didn't realise when Jungkook, who hated being stuck at home on weekends, preferred staying in relaxing without anything to do.
He didn't realise when Jungkook
/changed/.

"Why us, Kook? Why us out of everyone else out there?" Taehyung leaned back on the couch, eyes closed as trickles of tears made their way down his cheeks. "I just… I just wanted a happy life with you."
He took a deep breath, stabilising his voice before continuing again. "Yesterday. Our date. I was planning to take you to the orphanage. Ailiseu. She," He smiled. "She wanted to meet you for so long. I talk about you every time I meet her, you know. She doesn't know we are—"
Taehyung shook his head, with a pained smile. "/were/. We /were/ about to adopt her. We can't now, right?"

He glanced again at his husband, watching his chest fall and rise in a soft rhythm. He was content that at least one out of the two in the room was able to sleep peacefully
The next time he saw Jungkook, the male was wide awake on the bed, nodding at something the male was saying. Back aching and eyes groggy, Taehyung sat upright, wincing at his numb arm, a result of sleeping uncomfortably on the couch last night.
"Good Morning, Mr Kim." The nurse smiled at him. "Your husband is cleared by the doctor to leave for now. Just let me know when you want to leave so that I can prepare the bill.

"We'll leave as soon as possible, Aera. Maybe in an hour." Taehyung simply bowed, thanking her for
being so kind for the past two nights.

Once again alone in the room, Taehyung settled into silence and continued packing whatever minimum stuff Hoseok had brought for him yesterday.
He was fully aware of Jungkook's eyes following his moves, and the knowledge only made him want to sit beside the younger, hold him and talk about all the unspoken words that created a wall between them over months.

But he couldn't.
Not when Jungkook made it so clear yesterday that he didn't want to see Taehyung at all, choosing to stay alone in his room instead of talking to the man who has been sleeplessly waiting for him to turn conscious after the scary turn that their argument took.
The uncomfortable silence continued to float between them even as they drove to their flat. Reaching home, Taehyung was quick to settle on the couch, throwing his head over the back rest with an exhausted groan.
From the corner of his eyes he watched Jungkook staring at him, lips opening as if to say something.

And Taehyung hoped.

Oh god the man prayed for Jungkook to call out his name. To say anything in that matter.

But after standing there
for a few minutes, the younger just dispersed into their shared bedroom with hesitant slow steps, shoulders slung down.

And it hurt.

The broken look on Jungkook's face and the lost sparkles in his eyes hurt Taehyung to an extent that he was ready to forget it all.
Just like always, he was ready to move on from his husband's mistakes like always. But this time he knew he shouldn't.

For the sake of both of them, he shouldn't.

Taking one last glance at the closed bedroom door, he decided it was finally time to use the guest room.
"It'll be fine." He whispered to no one, or maybe to his rapidly beating heart.

[BRB IN AN HOUR]

I am voting for #BTS at the #MAMAVOTE 2022 as the Worldwide Fans Choice!
An hour turned into a day but can we really blame my procrastinating ass??

Okay let's start now. A short but sweet update ahead 🤍
"He didn't come again?"

Taehyung passed the young girl a small smile before settling down in front of her, holding her feet in his warm hands and gently massaging them like always. It was more of a habit by now.
"Sorry, Sue-ah. He hasn't been well for the past week."

"You always have excuses." Ailiseu jutted her lips into a pout, feigning annoyance, and narrowed her eyes. "Are you doorkeeping your husband from me, Taehyung-ssi?"
"Woah woah woah. What happened to 'handbear'? And who taught you such a big word? Do you even know the meaning?"

"I do! I learnt it from the movie yesterday. And you're /not/ my handbear."

Taehyung dramatically pressed his hand upon his chest, letting out a pained gasp.
"Nooo! Why?"

"Because you doorkeep your husband!"

Taehyung chuckled, squishing Ailiseu's cheeks in his large hands. "My baby chimpanzee, it's called gatekeeping. And I'm /not/ gatekeeping my husband from you. He's unwell, yeah? Resting in his room right now."
Ailiseu just made a face at that but Taehyung was glad she didn't ask any further questions. He hated lying to her.

"How's your physiotherapy going on? Does it still hurt as much?"

"Uh-huh." She nodded nonchalantly, passing a small thank you when Taehyung fixed her hair.
"Dr. Jihyun said no improvement. And and and I forgot to tell you!" She clapped her hands. "He gave me a new sticker book yesterday. It even has iron man in it."

The wide grip spread across the baby face made Taehyung's heart feel constricted in his chest.
Ailiseu has been the brightest girl for as far as Taehyung could remember. Always so cheerful and hiding her pain so perfectly that Taehyung's wondered if she already learnt the tactics of adults of acting as if everything is fine.

She wasn't fine, Taehyung knew.
Not being able to walk on her legs was one thing and Taehyung knew she was strong enough to go through it all. She never really took the sneaky remarks of other kids to heart but it was a whole different thing to physically go through the therapy everyday.
He had heard her crying inside that room the first time he went to hospital with her and he swore to never accompany her again. Those cries weren't something Taehyung was strong enough to handle.

"See? You are not listening!" Her loud shriek snapped the man out of his thoughts.
Oh god she was reason of his headache half of the time because of that high pitch voice. Not like Taehyung was complaining but still as much as he loved her, he wasn't really a big fan of the girl screaming in his ears.

"I'll end up as a deaf if you keep doing this!"
"Sorry." She giggled and oh she was anything but apologetic.

They ended up strolling around the orphanage park for a while, her mouth continuously blabbering out random incidents of the week and Taehyung, despite half of them not even being funny, found himself laughing.
"You promise to bring him next time?" The shimmers in her eyes were so bright that Taehyung didn't have the heart to say no. "I will help bake your anniversary cake with Mrs Choi."

Reality hit Taehyung like a truck. Their anniversary was in two weeks and Jungkook and him...
Well, they still weren't really in the talking phase. Two days after the younger's hospitalisation both of them had resumed their jobs.

And if Jungkook knew that Taehyung purposely left early, he didn't say anything.
Taehyung knew how childishly they were avoiding the elephant in the room and yet he didn't took the initiative to talk. And as much as he wanted to blame it as a result of his anger, the model knew what the actual reason was.

He was afraid.
Afraid if this talk will end up as the worst nightmare of his life, if Jungkook would break whatever bare minimum was now left among them.

But it wasn't bare minimum, for Taehyung it wasn't.

I can't wait to write the epilogue about the three of them. The au is almost at it's end and I'm planning to finish it within the coming week and then start with "Footprints"

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Jungkook, almost all his life, had been the pampered youngest child of the family. He couldn't remember the last time he had to explain his problems and struggles because everyone around him just /understood/ him.

His parents, his friends and mostly Taehyung.
They were experts at picking up his problems without the younger ever wording them.

But now as he sat in front if his therapist, a low instrumental music (Taehyung's favourite) playing in the background, he realised how this exact blessing became the reason for his destruction
He had been so used to people always understanding him and his problems that he just... forgot how to voice out his struggles. The habit of being always understood got so much onto his head that he no longer found the need to explain himself better, explain himself/at all/
"Jungkook, you're spacing out again." Daehee, his therapist, pointed out, passing him a small smile as if she understood him, as if she knows what's going on.

But she didn't. She had no idea how bad he had fucked up.

"You missed almost eight of your sessions, my child."
"I know," He whispered, fingers clutching the hem of his shirt. "I got hospitalised—"

"That was three weeks ago. You haven't visited me even once after that and looking at you its clear you aren't fine. Did you both argue again?"

Argue? Jungkook wanted to laugh.
"We... we aren't," Jungkook licked his lips, trying to find correct words to explain his situation, his marriage that was now hanging on a thin thread. "We fought, Daehee. And I said," He took in a shaky breath, finding it hard to keep his emotions at bay.
"I said things I shouldn't have. I always do this. Say things I don't mean but can't fucking, for once, tell him what's going on."

"It's fine. We talked about it, didn't we? You need time, Jungkook. You'll gradually get to the point where you can express yourself."
"But I don't have that time!" He raised his voice, already feeling anxious over every passing minute that he's wasting here instead of taking to Taehyung.

He needs to talk to him, tell him how sorry he is for everything that he made him go through, express how fucked up
he has been feeling inside his head for so long now.

"I told him I want a divorce. Our marriage... I said him I never wanted it!"

"Because you never did. You didn't want to marry him at that time. You told me yourself."
"I didn't mean it like that!" Daehee watched as Jungkook fumed in anger, his hands coiling into fists. "I wanted to give him the best fucking wedding that he deserved. I wanted it to be grand with all those dreams he had about it. I wanted him to feel like a king. But I,"
Jungkook chuckled, mocking his own self. "I ruined all those dreams for him. I was struggling, still not financially stable to hold a grand ceremony and he loved me so much that he agreed for a small wedding at some local hall. He had that money, he could have fulfilled all his
wishes about the wedding he wanted but I was so fucking admanant on splitting the expenses that he chose the cheapest of outfits for himself. He settled on inviting only the close circle of friends and relatives, agreed to those cheap decorations, compromised on all his dreams!"
Jungkook threw his head back, blinking his eyes rapidly to not let the tears fall. He didn't deserve to cry like this. I wasn't him whose dreams were kîlled, who was suffocated in the marriage he so looked forward to. It wasn't him who had a failed husband.
"For me." He gulped, throat clogged up with emotions. "He did all that for me and I just went on to fail him. I couldn't even prove myself as a successful husband to him."

"Did he ever say that to you?"

Confused, Jungkook blinked at her. "Huh?"
"Taehyung. Did that man ever complained about the wedding? Or about you failing him?"

"No." Jungkook shook his head. "No, he would never. But I know. I knew his dreams and I watched his break them all for m—"

"You assumed, Jungkook. Just like you always do."
She smiled at the younger's frown. "You assumed things about him that he never said. You assumed he compromised his dreams when he just could have prioritised a life with you among all those materialistic wants. You assumed he was unhappy for being with you when he never once
said that. You just assumed he wanted an out from this marriage when that man must have been thriving to just somehow make it work."

"But... but he was unhappy. We argued so much in past months."

"And you never asked him a reason, did you?"
"No..."

"You assumed. Just like you want others to assume what's going on with your life. But, my child, that's not how life works. Sometimes you need to talk and listen for things to work out. All that you said to me today, Taehyung deserves to know them."
"We don't even look at each other now a days." For the first time during that session, Jungkook finally allowed the tears to trail down. "I... I miss him so much." He gripped the hem of his shirt tighter, catching the lower lip between his teeth to stop it from quivering.
"There's no one to check upon me anymore or to hold me and say that everything will be alright. I know he isn't sleeping well, his face shows it all and," Jungkook sobbed out, eyes red and tired "I don't want him to leave.

"𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦" Image
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Taehyung stepped into the apartment, the day's exhaustion setting on his body. He has always been the kind of person who hated overworking himself but lately that's all he seemed to do.
Overwork.

It was better than sitting idle and running his mind over what went wrong and how.

It didn't give him time to think about what Jungkook must be doing, or how the younger would have scolded him by now for not properly taking care of himself.
Stomach grumbling, he passed by the kitchen to go to the guest room. He was hungry, indeed, but not a single muscle in his body was keen to cook anything. His whole body was /aching/.

However before he could enter the room, his steps halted, breath hitching at the sudden grip on
his wrist.

"Can we... can we talk?" The voice was hesitant, afraid at most part.

And unconsciously Taehyung's eyes welled up. That touch. God it has been so long since he felt that, since he sensed Jungkook so close to him.
Taehyung wanted to hug Jungkook right there, scream and yell at him for taking so long to ask this simple question, but he chose against it. Instead he simply nodded, walking back towards the living room without meeting the younger's eyes.

"I umm... I cooked some food."
Taehyung smiled, eyes still not meeting Jungkook's. "I'd like to eat that."

He saw the way Jungkook's sober expression turned into one of shock before finally settling into a grin. "Yeah... Yeah okay. Wait I'll bring it." He fumbled with his words, feet already turning towards
the kitchen. "Don't leave. I'll heat it up and wait here okay. I'll quickly—"

"I'm here, Jungkook. I'm not going anywhere. I'll wait for you."

Jungkook's movements paused. He nodded to himself, the words settling in as a affirmation, an assurance he was so greedily craving for.
"Yeah, yeah okay."

He didn't take much long to set the dinner of table, trembling fingers carefully pouring the soup in Taehyung's bowl.

"I can do it myself."

"I know." Jungkook whispered but still served the food in Taehyung's plate. "I just...I want to do it. For you."
Taehyung bit his tongue to not pass a remark about how Jungkook was not here to serve food all those days the model would come back exhausted, how there was no one to feed him when even moving a single finger felt difficult.

He didn't dare say how much he missed Jungkook.
"Do we," Jungkook said once he was assured that Taehyung was done eating. "Do we still have time to mend it? Can I fix it all? I promise I will."

And Taehyung's heart ached. It ached for the tears that Jungkook was trying so hard to keep in, for the hopelessness in that voice.
"Can you see something left to fix?" Taehyung's voice was firm, complete opposite of the chaos inside him. "Can you, Jungkook?"

"I..." Taehyung smiled, watched how Jungkook came to crouch in front of him, those hesitant hands settling on the older's knees.
"Because I can. I can see so many pieces to tape together, Jungkook. And I'm getting tired of keeping them safe with me now. I've been waiting since so long for you to just come and ask me for those pieces, to help me tape them together. I was starting to feel that I'm the fool—"
"No!" Jungkook furiously shook his head, burying his face in Taehyung's knees. "No, the only one fool here was me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for saying those words without explaining, I'm sorry for being so shit at expressing myself and..." He choked, pressing himself closer.
"And I'm sorry for failing you, for ruining us. I never meant to, trust me. I tried my best to save everything but it just kept slipping away. I could see it seeping out of my grasp like a sand and I still couldn't do anything."

"You never failed me, Kook."

𝘒𝘰𝘰𝘬
Jungkook whipped his head towards Taehyung, face flushed with tears. Crying in Taehyung's hold always felt so easy.

"Call me that again." He whispered. "Please..."

"Kook. My Kook. My stupid idiot Kook who couldn't even talk to me about what's troubling him."
"You're such a dream. So difficult to accept that you're a human." He looked at Taehyung's features, so soft and heavenly even with the dark bangs of sleepless nights under those eyes. "I asked for a divorce."

"And I was about to give it to you."

"But you didn't."
Taehyung chuckled, shaking his head. "Because I couldn't. I'm so selfish, ain't I?

"Yeah. So selfish. So selfish to marry me that you gave up all those plans of your dream wedding for me."

Taehyung frowned at Jungkook's words, his brown furrowing. "Jungkook, what—"
"That day when I said I didn't want to marry you, I didn't mean it the way it came out. I was just..." He took in a deep breath, grasping Taehyung's warm hands in his as an anchor. "I just wasn't ready for a marriage, you know? I was not financially stable, I was..."
He looked into Taehyung's eyes. "I wanted to give you the wedding that you always dreamt of, I wanted to become financially stable to afford it. You had your whole future as a model infront of you and I didn't want you to settle with a struggling business. I hurt me to watch you
compromise your wants to cut down the wedding expanses. I hated," Jungkook closed his to sooth the stinging in them. "I hated it so much. You deserve everything good in the world and I you had to settle for such a bland wedding because of me."
"Fucking shut up!" Taehyung's voice was loud but Jungkook could hear it cracking. "Shut up before I hit you so hard that you would forget how to even speak all this bullshit that you're spitting." Taehyung tugged Jungkook's collars, jerking the boy forward to meet his eyes.
"Bland? You had the audacity to call it bland when it was the most blessed I've even felt?" Jungkook shivered at Taehyung's voice. "Marrying you, Jeon Jungkook, made me feel like the king of the world. All those expensive shit you wanted to buy me were nothing infront of that
one ring that you gave me on our wedding, all those designer outfits were rag in front of the warmth I got after being declared your husband. How dare you call it bland when it is the only experience that I still remember in every vein of my body!"

"But your dream weddin—"
"Means nothing when /you/ were the one I was marrying. It means nothing in front of you." Taehyung pulled the man on the couch, cupping his face gently. "Tell me, Jungkook. Have you been carrying this stupid thought in your brain since our wedding?"
It took Taehyung no less than a slight nod to pull Jungkook into his arms, the elder's natural scent engulfing Jungkook from all around.

And finally, after so long the CEO felt like coming home. His only home.

"I don't fit you." Jungkook mumbled. "They said we don't match."
I've been updating since quite a few hours now so I'll stop the updates here and post the rest in this week itself. I'm glad the way this whole au turned out just the way I expected. Please let me know what are your thoughts.

#taejoonau where after a silent breakup, models Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung decide to part their ways for good. But maturity is something Taehyung refuses to adopt so he goes on a mission to bag every single one of brands Namjoon endorses solely for the older's attention.
A soft little au where Namjoon knows that the firm, confident nod Taehyung gives after their decision to end things is nothing but a facade to keep his tears at bay. He notices the way Taehyung prolongs his stay at Namjoon's apartment just to not let the reality settle on him.
The shortage of boxes on day one, being too tired to pack things yet on day two and the hastily tied bandage around his wrist for a sprain they both know doesn't exist on day three — Namjoon notices the excuses.

So, finally taking things in his own hands, he packs up the boxes.

"I came..." Jungkook whispers, lips trailing over Taehyung's collar bones. "I left it all and came for you, my King."

Taehyung closes his eyes, relishing the feeling of Jungkook's warmth against him. "I didn't ask you to, I never did."

#taekookau #taekook

Jungkook simply shakes his head. "Can't. 'M sorry."

Even though partially awake, Jungkook wishes he could convey all things he wants to apologise for, he wishes to etch each of his confessions on the King's arm for the whole world to see.
For a brief moment he pulls back to look at Taehyung and his heart crushes at the look of worry in Taehyung's eyes.

"I can't stop having visions of them."

He closes his eyes when Taehyung's hands briskly push back the strands of hair covering the vampire's temple.

T/w death? (Please don't proceed it may get dark 🥲)

Okay so imagine if I actually dîe someday but y'all keep thinking its me being ia without having any idea that my precious, adorable and sexy existence has been wiped off this planet? Like its actually scary cause this place
has been a literal escape for me from my real life and it'd suck to know that no one here would ever get to know if I leave one day.

(Moreover who'll tell the world that I was a whore for Taehyung after my déath if not y'all)
I'm not someone who's actually as afraid of deàth or that's what I like to make myself believe but what scares me the most is the thought of people who're close to me dealing with my déàth? Like I'll be gone and that's end of it for me but what about the pain people related to me

"Did you ever wonder how it'll feel like to be all alone?" Taehyung asks, fingers pricking the loose thread of his sweater.

'With you, I never had to.' Jungkook wants to say.

"I wish I did." He whispers instead, smiling at his best friend. ImageImage
"Yeah?" When Taehyung looks up at him, there's sadness swimming in those eyes where once used to reside nothing but pool full of love for the world. "Me too."

Heart sinking with each breath, Jungkook somehow manages to wrap his arms around the older, his lips itching to press a
kiss at those cheeks that had rivers of tears flowing down them.

But he couldn't. Not anymore.
