I get back from the woods and not much has changed. There was some apparently rather forceful rejection of forced conscription. One commander got fragged in one instance and in another some dragooned Central Asians said, "Russian Army Go Fuck Yourself" spelled out in 7.62 font.
The Ukrainian high commander has imposed a blackout over Kherson so something but what? Fingers crossed it makes the Kharkiv offensive gains look small. I really want that city liberated because of its political importance to Putin. Though apparently one pressing question was
answered while I was helping some people back up the mountain.... we now know what air defense doing. Shelling Belgorod. You can't make this stuff up. Ukrainians strike and Russia piles on with malfunctioning missiles. So far this do not be off too a good start for
General Armageddon. Speaking of Armageddon, @mtracey and the rest of the surrender monkeys are still going on about the Kerch Strait Bridge. I don't know if they are more upset that a valid military target was hit, or that it makes the #genocideofUkrainians harder for Russia to
achieve. What the appeaseniks don't seem to get is Russia is desperate to get out of this war. However, they have not yet reached the point of peace through well earned defeat and still want a frozen conflict to enable the mass rape of the lands and people they stole. Our job
is simple, keep the drumbeat of support for Ukraine beating loud. malfucntioning missiles, T-62 tanks and red v red self owns all say Ukraine is winning but has not won yet. My own home state of #Arkansas just had @LockheedMartin open another production line for #HIMARS.
Thats what political support from people like @JohnBoozman, @SenTomCotton, and @RepFrenchHill looks like. The push and need now is to help Ukraine liberate as much as she can before weather becomes too big of a factor. Winter is right around the corner.
Our support to charities like @MriyaAid or @UkraineAidOps can help assure that when it arrives the Ukrainians can survive and fight even when its cold, muddy and frozen while the Russian's get to watch their toes fall off. 300,000K mobilized (minus a few who got fratricided)
won't mean much with out boots and uniforms let alone modern weapons. It will however provide endless opportunities for meme making by the #Fellas of #NAFO. I foresee some variation of blue Russians, cordwood and troopsicles in the near future. Speaking of the future...
I have been invited to speak on a space hosted by @UkrainianTruths later today (2pm est). So they get the honor of being the first space I have repped other than the always excellent @MriyaReport and hope to see ya'll there. Now that the exciting stuff is out of the way, time to
talk about my vacation. The new roof top tent was great in most respect but my old bones need more cushion. But it was easy to put up and take down. The extra weight up top took some getting used too when off camber. It didn't really affect the trucks balance but you could feel
it up there. My first trail ride during this years #RITO got cut short when we came across a couple of stock rigs that bit off more than they could chew and ended up on a trail that would be rated black if it was out west. I was tail gunning the group and they tucked in
with us but then even farther in, decided they wanted to go back up the mountain rather than continue to the bottom and back up the other side so I dropped out with them and got them to the top. The next days ride went better. I lead a small group including a newbie from Texas
on his first ever trail ride. Pretty easy trail but had some really steep grades, whoopdies and some tight fits that gave him a taste of what a real 4x4 can do stock, plus he got to see a bluff shelter that is an ancient dwelling used by Native Americans going back thousands of
years. The Ozarks are dotted with thousands of them and everyone ever investigated has shown signs of human habitation. Usually seasonally as the tribes moved from resource spot to resource spot. Then it was time to go home, once again my number was not called at the raffle...
oh well one day. The drive home though was "fun", hail, lightning, torrential rain... droughts end in floods they say. But I am home safe and glad to be back. Until Ukraine wins on Ukraine's terms: Slava Ukraini!
