What Is LiFE Mission?
1. Today (oct,22),PM Narendra Modi launches Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) at Statue of Unity in Kevadia. The event was attended by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
2.The LiFE is a campaign to protect and preserve the environment.

3. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at COP26 in Glasgow on 1st November 2021.
4. This campaign is aimed at countering the effects of climate change by implementing macro measures and actions at an individual level and at the community level.

5. According to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), if one billion people of the world adopt environment-friendly behaviours in their daily lives, global carbon emissions could drop by approximately 20%.

6. LiFE puts individual and collective duty on everyone to live a life that is in tune with Earth and does not harm it. Those who practice such a lifestyle are recognised as Pro Planet People (P3) under LiFE.
