It’s fair to say we all know who the issues are coming from and I’ll be the first to give the UN a gold star⭐️for managing this relationship, which is surely no fun. Their frontline staff are presumably fighting an uphill battle daily.
But wait, there’s more.
Lavrov is asking for more information, I wrote about it this morning. Unlike you fine folks, he doesn’t appear to follow our coverage.
As you might have guessed, no grain ships sailed today while they investigated the possible mine like object. That means nothing much changed except a few ships that delivered. But….scroll down.⬇️

Breaking! 🚨🚨The JCC advises a suspicious object, potentially mine like has been reported in the Black Sea Grain Initiative humanitarian corridor. Reports are that ships observed the object and moved away until further inspection can be completed.
All of the ships which sailed on the 24th are safely in the Northern Bosphorus Anchorage.
We believe all of today’s ships are safely sailed towards the North Bosphorus Anchorage and south of Snake Island.
The Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said this morning that they have asked the UN for more data on the grain deal, evidently he hasn’t seen ours⬇️. 🧵⬇️
“Lavrov said that between 5% and 7% of the grain concerned was reaching the world’s poorest countries, with around 50% of the exports being shipped to the European Union.” reuters.com/article/ukrain…
His numbers aren’t that far off but it’s 46.5% to the European continent and 2.7% to the 25 poorest countries. #169 and down: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_c…
