#THREAD Greek journalist Tasos @telloglou revealed that he & three more journalists (@e_triantafillou, @nasoskook, & @Chondrogiannos) investigating the spying scandal in 🇬🇷, were all under surveillance.

2️⃣ According to @telloglou, 🇬🇷 secret service agency was using mobile network antennas to track the movements of the journalists through their cell phones and find out who their sources were.

3️⃣ “In June a source from the intelligence service informed me that E. Triantafyllou, T. Chondrogiannos, T. Koukakis & I were ‘being linked’ with tens of possible sources based on the mobile network antennas, to check on ‘whether we are meeting’”.

4️⃣ 🔍 Τ. @telloglou revealed that in May he had been tailed while heading to a meeting with a source for the #predatorgate investigation, and that there was an attempt to bug his car from someone who claimed to be a policeman.

5️⃣ From all of the above it is understood that the 🇬🇷 secret services were targeting journalists from @insidestory_gr & #ReportersUnited, who have since last January been making revelations on the #predatorgate scandal in #Greece.

6️⃣ It is worth noticing that the journalists’ surveillance took place when G. Dimitriadis was still the Prime Minister’s Secretary General & in charge of the National Intelligence Agency.

7️⃣ The surveillance of journalists is an attempt to intimidate them and their sources.
