RUSSIA SUSPENDS DEAL!

21 days left in the grain deal, 409 ships outbound, with 9,181,820MT &248 ships delivered with 5,282,002MT.

Sailing from Odesa today were Rising Eagle, Super Bayern, Captain Adam 1, Montara, and Rubymar carrying 97,400MT, one ship remains anchored outside of Odesa, St. Sofia. It appears as though the five ships which sailed have left Ukraine’s territorial waters.
All of yesterday’s ships appear safe in the Bosphorus North Anchorage.

The largest load today was 33,000MT of corn on the Super Bayern, headed to Italy. #myprecious

In case you hadn’t heard… Russia claims Ukrainian forces attacked Sevastopol. There has been no admission to such from Ukraine and their involvement remains unconfirmed.
The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed an attack, I would caution taking any of the video at face value for the moment.

In response, the Russian Defense Ministry suspended the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
Ukraine’s response refers to this as false pretext for cancellation and admonishes Russia.
For it’s part, the UK Ministry of Defense is having absolutely none of it in regards to Russia’s assertions they were involved. Russia has ramped up their accusations against the UK amid the political turmoil there.
This of course has consequences, the first being that there are ships stuck in Odesa area ports again.
A reminder that Russia’s friends and allies benefit greatly from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
Lest you think Ukraine and Russia have completely cut off ties, there was also a prisoner exchange today. How much of all this is bluster will be proven out in the coming days.
And finally, to all my Turkish followers, Happy National Day! Pretty sure Erdogen isn’t celebrating at the moment though, crisis management in full swing.

Sailing from Odesa today were ASL Tia, Kavo Perdika, Lina, Zante, Ahmet Agaoglu and Sevil, carrying 174,490MT, two ships remain anchored outside of Odesa, Rising Eagle and Super Bayern.
