At the beginning of October, after I had gone to #Mysuru to walk awhile with the #BharatJodoYatra, I had pointed out how @RahulGandhi had chosen the difficult path, and by doing so, he had completely stumped the toxic media and propaganda machinery. 1/

It brings a lot of satisfaction today to find people gushing over @ravishndtv saying the same thing from the platform he occupies. #BharatJodoYatra is the difficult path, but it is drawing people out of their homes to connect with a leader who listens to them every day. 2/

The cheap jibes of the WhatsApp factories, the non-stop negativity and cynicism that has been unleashed on our people for so long now, has begun to look more and more ridiculous. #BharatJodoYatra positions love, acceptance, inclusion above hate and division. 3/

When did we lose our common sense? When did our sense of right and wrong get completely erased by the daily spectacle of injustice? In 53 days, #BharatJodoYatra is making people come face to face once more with decency - the desire to do good and be good. 4/

I am at a vulnerable stage of life when I need many personal prayers answered. I wake up in the middle of the night with many fears about a dozen things. But, by morning, I am thankful to God and guru for 1 thing alone - that the #BharatJodoYatra continues, drawing more people.5/

May the #BharatJodoYatra usher in the healing and rebuilding we so desperately need, as a country and society. May the faces of those who denounce it - twisted with hatred, full of arrogance, be unmasked more and more in the eyes of the people in coming days. Jai Hind! fin/

The significance of the fact that I was stepping out of my home to join the #BharatJodoYatra on #GandhiJayanti was not lost on me. I have been worried for some time now, on how, as citizens we have let down the Mahatma whom we best know now only as the face on currency notes. 1/

Was my participation in the #BharatJodoYatra a simple matter of walking with others on a city street? No. The Yatra was not passing through Bengaluru, so I needed to take a train instead, to Mysuru. My daughter decided to accompany me, with her son. We reached that afternoon. 2/

The first sight that met our eyes was the @INCIndia office just outside Mysuru station. By the time we reached our hotel, we had seen autos with loudspeakers inviting people from Mysuru to a public meeting that evening, and the #BharatJodoYatra the next day. 3/

#भारत_जोड़ो_यात्रा की ख़बरों को जिस तरह मीडिया ने पूरी तरह दबाने की कोशिश की है, उस हिसाब से तो जिन लोगों ने यात्रा में दो कदम भी चला हो, अपने अनुभव और विचारों को लोगों से साझा करना चाहिए. मुझे ख़ुशी है की मैं कल और परसों मैसूर में यात्रियों से मिल सकी और कुछ देर चल सकी. 1/

कांग्रेस ने #राहुलगाँधी जी के नेतृत्व में यह यात्रा तब निकाली है जब हमारा देश महंगाई, बेरोज़गारी,चीनी अतिक्रमण,बिगड़े सामाजिक संतुलन से गुज़र रहा है. लेकिन इसे महंगाई-विरोधी या नौकरी-दो यात्रा नहीं बुलाया गया इसे #भारत_जोड़ो_यात्रा का नाम दिया गया. हम इसका सही अर्थ कैसे समझें? 2/

सच तो यह है कि हम भारत को तभी जोड़ सकते हैं जब हम माने कि इसे तोडा जा रहा है.सब से पहले,अपनों से बनायीं गयी दूरियां.आज मीडिया 24/7 भड़काऊ बयानों का प्रसारण, हर बात का हिन्दू-मुस्लिम,सांस्कृतिक प्रतीकों को खूंखार बनाना. तोड़ने की यह अथक कोशिश का सामना कररहीहै #भारत_जोड़ो_यात्रा 3/
