1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4671: Bryce Harper's Home Run Expression
#BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #BryceHarper
2/ At the time of this post, the Philadelphia Phillies lead the Houston Astros 7-0 in the third game of the World Series.
3/ In the first inning, designated hitter, Bryce Harper, on his first pitch, hit an 84 mph knuckle curve ball off of Lance McCullers for a two-run homer to right-center field giving the Phillies a 2-0 lead.
4/ In this image you can see Harper a split-second after the ball was hit (note slight deformation of the baseball).
5/ In this close-up of Harper's face, you can see the facial manifestations of his adrenaline surge...
6/ Note the details of Harper's facial expression:

• Widely opened eyelids — particularly the upper lids.
• Widely flared nostrils (to take in more air/oxygen)
• Dramatic tension of 'mustache area'
• Inward lip roll
• Jaw (Mandible) thrusting forward
7/ Also, while at the limits of reasonable resolution, we can also note that Bryce Harper's pupils are dilated.
8/ SUMMARY: While all adrenaline surges are not associated with dramatic physical activity (i.e., sometimes you will see while a person is sitting relatively still in a chair with similar expressions), this moment serves as a highly demonstrative example of that phenomenon.

#BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #ClarenceThomas Image
2/ This is a close-up of an image take during a recent official US Supreme Court photograph session — and this is also Thomas's chosen, posed expression.
3/ This expression is an amalgamation of both Contempt and Disgust.

1/ THREAD: Breakdown

"I've heard the word 'diversity' quite a few times, and I don't have a clue what it means."

Clarence Thomas
2/ This, and statements similar to it, are highly manipulative. Red lights flashing. Sirens blaring. Here are just a few reasons:
3/ • This is Passive Aggressive AF. Clarence, you know exactly what 'diversity' means.

1/ THREAD: Donald Trump, Jr.'s open display of firearms on his Instagram account — particularly an assault weapon — is but one dramatic Body Language example of male overcompensatory behavior.
2/ This image demonstrates an affectation screaming:

• "I'm not comfortable in my masculinity"
• "I need an adjunct to make me fully masculine"
• "I desperately wants to be an alpha, but I perceive myself as beta"
• "I'm inadequate and over-compensating"
3/ The image of Secretary Hillary Clinton — while on its surface is designed to provoke Clinton supporters and unify his father's base — is to a larger degree a sign that Trump Jr. is projecting his own fears. Image

1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4668: Herschel Walker allegedly paying for abortions for the mother of one of his children
#EmotionalIntelligence #BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #HerschelWalker #Abortion #MotherOfHisChildren #RoeVWade
2/ Earlier today, during a press scrum, Herschel Walker was asked multiple times re allegations of an abortion for which he had paid — and if the woman who had the abortion is also the mother of one of his children.
3/ In this short (1 min, 40 second video), Herschel Walker makes multiple verbal denials including, "No", "Why do I need to?",..."Because I said, 'No', that's what I mean, when I say, 'No', I said, 'That's not correct. That's a lie', and that's what I mean, that's a lie.",...

1/ THREAD: Tonight Donald Trump said, "I’m not a terrorist."

2/ This is a CLASSIC example of an Unsolicited Denial. Unsolicited denials are forms of confession.
3/ Another famous example of an unsolicited denial was spoken by Richard Nixon on 17 November 1973.

"I'm not a crook."
