Not happy because #Sunak is choosing the worst possible route forward, increasing taxation on those who have the least income to spare - remembering the truly rich do not pay income tax... he would know that, wouldn't he!

The Institute for Government tells us that, at the end of "March 2022, there were 478,540 full-time equivalent (FTE) civil servants." But instead of examining what really matters, our #woke uncivil service look at this!

In April 2022, @Jacob_Rees_Mogg (now on backbenches) wrote warning Cabinet Ministers (which would have included #Sunak) that the cost and number of #quangos ‘continues to increase'!

So in addition to those 400,000 directly employed civil servants, there are a further 300,000 lurking in quangos, whose value to the public purse is highly questionable. Further they cost us £220BN p.a.!

So #Sunak, the answer to your question about filling the black hole of 'profound #economic #crisis' is simply to reduce the quangocracy and its attendant resource costs by 25% - simple maths! Not rocket science eh?!

#GDP growth is at an all time low - the cost of the state is unsustainable. If this country is to get off its knees, then a 50% bonfire of all the #quangos would put us on the right track & save the hard-pressed #taxpayer from footing YOUR bill #SUNAK!!

Solution: Bonfire of the quangos! @Jacob_Rees_Mogg had it right.
Simples. Instead #Sunak wants to drag us into recession by increasing taxes on business and those least able to afford!
