1. Michael Gregory used prostate cancer/pity to get sexual favours from students, claiming orgasms were for pain relief, and take leaves of absences. All sources believe diagnosis was faked. Does anyone have contradicting information? Did he have any genuine medical issues?

2. He also claimed to have close connections with RCMP and organized criminals. Was this also a charade used to intimidate and silence victims and adversaries?
Also claimed he was adopted—but was it merely lies to ingratiate himself with victim who was adopted child?

3. Parents of at least 6 students went to administration about Gregory's sexual impropriety, harassment, and physical abuse. Where are the incident reports? Were any documented and filed with school board (@yyCBEdu) or shared with superintendents, as policy required? #yyc #yyccc

4. @JohnWareJunior employed another sexual predator at the same time as Gregory. In 2008, Fred Archer was convicted for abusing boys at a previous school—but did he also assault John Ware students?
One background source says yes. Looking for more information… #yyc #calgary

5. As above, did Fred Archer leave the previous school, Spring Bank Middle School, by choice—or was he "caught" and this is a case of "passing the trash?" (euphemism used by some schools and churches for quiet transfer of abusers) #yyc #yyccc #calgary

6. Weeks before MG was charged, @yyCBEdu quietly transferred elementary principal @tmgreenlaw to @JohnWareJunior in Feb. 2021.
Greenlaw was MG's former student, same year as first victim Kelly Schneider, and would be a possible witness to blatant grooming and abuse… (cont'd 1/2)

… Coincidence–or did @yyCBEdu have a PR strategy derailed after Schneider came forward to police about her 1991 complaint to school being dismissed by asst. principal?
The CBE was certainly aware of police investigation when it hired @tmgreenlaw as JWS's new principal.

7. Schneider says after coming forward in 1991, rumours of her "affair" (as it was called then) with her teacher spread like wildfire and that she was bullied for it until changing schools. Can any former staff or students out there corroborate? Do you remember any such rumours?

8. I only know of 3 @albertateachers (ATA) complaints against Gregory, in 1998, 2003 and 2004 (the one documented in my article).
–What was nature of 1998 and 2003 misconduct complaints that didn't go to hearing?
–Who made those complaints?
–Were there other ATA complaints?

9. Re: 2003 complaint, days after the complainant filed it against Gregory, Gregory retaliated with a complaint of his own against that same colleague, and consequently initial complaint was withdrawn.
Any more information about this incident would be greatly appreciated.

10. As above, does anyone out there know of other times Gregory may have retaliated or used blackmail to silence @JohnWareJunior/@yyCBEdu colleagues who were prepared to report his misconduct?

11. @yyCBEdu refused to answer any questions, including the dates that Gregory was promoted to @JohnWareJunior's administration team; left administration; last day of teaching; last day of official employment.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

12. The 2005 field trip incident that ended Gregory's teaching career involved him texting photos of a gun to 2 teenagers, suggesting he'd kill himself if they didn't meet him alone.
Merely a photo or did he bring a gun? Was he known to bring guns on outdoor ed trips?

13. As above, I've confirmed identity of 1 of the 2 teenagers, and that she was an abuse victim, but she declined to participate in article.
Who was the other girl? If you're them or know her identity, please PRIVATELY DM me. I want to know more about the school + ATA's response.

14. As above, why did it take ten weeks for incident report to reach @albertateachers (ATA) investigator? How did the ATA learn about it in first place?

15. Why did it take 1+ year for ATA investigator to learn about Gregory’s well known unprofessional conduct with students?

16. In late 2005, the @albertateachers investigator interviewed 5 students, 3 I've confirmed. Were other 2 females? Who were they?
Were they also suspected of being groomed and/or sexual abused?

17. After the 2005 canoe incident and 2006 ATA judgment, did either @JohnWareJunior or @yyCBEdu do an internal audit of Gregory's employee file? What was in his employee file?

18. False sexual abuse accusations against teachers are higher than average (*but still rare!*), the assumption of which has historically protected REAL abusers. To what extent did the assumption of false accusations play a part in the apathy or complicity that protected Gregory?

19. Several students claim @JohnWareJunior guidance counsellor Marilyn MacDonald (2000s) and current gym teacher Glenn Evans witnessed + ignored Gregory's inappropriate touching of female students. Both declined comment. Would appreciate any more relevant information about them.

20. Since obtaining @albertateachers internal files, Calgary police say it contained sufficient evidence to begin processing criminal charges—but wouldn't elaborate further.
Any intel on non-public contents of the internal ATA investigation would be appreciated.

21. Gregory was charged/arrested on Feb 17, released pending trial, and subsequently killed himself five days later in Quadra Island.
Any knowledge of details of his arrest? Did he give a police statement?
Any intel on his release, trip to Quadra Island, and suicide?

22. Gregory is in general a black box. Almost everything I can confirm about him is in this article. But what was his upbringing like? Does he have siblings? Did he have a good or strained relationship with his family?

23. His marriage is also a black box. Gregory obviously deceived his wife of 30 years (telling female students they were separating/divorcing in order to have sex with them). Was Mrs. Gregory also a victim of blatant psychological, physical, or emotional abuse? PRIVATE MSGs ONLY.

24. All 7 @yyCBEdu school trustees, including the ward's @neclose, refused to answer my questions about the CBE's handling of the case and subsequent class-action suit.
To my knowledge, they have not meaningfully addressed it publicly, discussing it in-camera only… (cont'd 1/3)

… I would appreciate any information on these in-camera meetings at @yyCBEdu, and any insight into why @neclose, her 6 female co-trustees council, and Chief Superintendent @UsihChristopher have taken a legal defence that victims see as callous and cruel. (2/3)

… I would also appreciate a legal perspective on @yyCBEdu unusual legal argument, that it owed "no duty of care" to the students victimized by the teacher it employed and entrusted to edcuate them. It seems to fly in the face of common sense, but alas, the CBE stonewalled me.
