I have worked extremely hard to get where I am, and I’m not even close to where I want to go.
As Twitter workers complain of Elon Musk being too demanding, he asked for 40 hours a week or more. (Thread)
1/
I know he is a controversial figure, and he often speaks impulsively, part of what it is to be autistic.
that aside, why is working 40+hours a week on a company you’re passionate about a bad thing?
(My longest stretch of work without a day off was 1,496 days. No vacation or 2/
… holiday)
I had to do it, because I didn’t have a fancy degree, and I was on another medication to knock out a horse.
I don’t understand why everyone feels they should be able to make a lot of money without working.
FYI, $TWTR was losing 4 million a day.

I followed the court case very closely. I am neither a fan, nor dislike Elon Musk. I am certainly not a fan of the way humanity has treated him.
I absolutely abhor Donald Trump. If you compare the two, musk is like a Santa Claus.

I would typically put this thread on my financial account, but I’m done hiding what I can do.
as a supporter of #MentalHealth an #equality, & #kindnessRipples, I was astonished someone is suing him because they wanted to work from home, using disability as an excuse.

I have used Twitter since 2013, and it is the only social media site I actually enjoy because I can learn so much from all of the amazing minds here.
Why are we so caught up in wanting to hate someone we don’t know? Endorphins rush, we feel strong, but at the cost of another. 6/
I believe that humanity is much better when we unite, look for the positives, put forth our best effort instead of complaining, and root for success for all the people we know.
Even those we dislike. 7/
I believe that if you can’t show kindness, or at least respect to those you dislike, you aren’t kind IMO, just manipulative. (this does not apply for abuse or healthy boundaries. This is about coworkers, or friends that have a different political belief)

Since 2016, I have seen more hate and anger than any time in my life.
As of today, any person that I follow posting cruelty, mean things, aggressive things, and anything less than respect and open minded dialogue will be unfollowed.
9/
I do not have the capacity to provide light, empathy, compassion, and love to the world around me when everything on my feed is negative and toxic.
10/
I wish everyone well, but more so, I hope humanity will grow up and lift each other up instead of finding joy in pulling others down.
I have seen this in the mental health community, and everywhere. It has no place in a world where beauty and love should rule.
One thing that adds to mental health stigma is people demanding that we need special treatment, when we are every bit as able-bodied as a Neuro-typical.
I like Lisa, but this adds to #stigma. I dislike excuses. I don’t get to make them. No one does. #mentalHealth
I used a small account to confront the individual, but he blocked, because he is more interested in free money than helping and the stigma on disabilities.
I am livid.
I fight each and every day to end preconceptions, misconceptions, and discrimination.

I have spent the last few years trying to rethink #mhealth. As we work to lessen #stigma and fear I ask everyone to keep an open mind, give feedback, and join me as I delve into some unique hypotheses. 1/
This started with my sphere of mental health. (Pinned)
. I don’t believe true “normal” exists and feel everyone has issues that fit within the sphere. A dx comes because of observations that are inherently flawed & variable due to relative perceptions. 2/
I use the word “flawed” because none of us can read minds, therefore, there is no objective way to truly know exactly what someone is going through or how extreme their suffering is. This is one reasons #mhealth pros have such a difficult job. 3/
