On the plenary session of #HFX2022 I outlined main elements of a long-term strategy the Euro-Atlantic community needs now.
1: The strategy should not take the fear of what happens when Russia is defeated as a starting point.
2: NATO must implement the decision to move to a modern forward defence posture urgently.
3: We should not leave grey areas in Europe in the form of buffer states as this will lead to more instability.
