#Eton boys ‘sanctioned’ by a school that saw fit to offer hospitality and a platform to Farage and thereby, predictably, exposed state school children (Eton’s guests) to racist and misogynistic abuse
The unsurprising #Eton#Farage scandal speaks volumes about UK establishment and the school that's groomed so many narcissistic sociopath politicians & journos
Without their privilege, wealth, contacts, & the #Eton Oxbridge fast-track, scrutiny-free adult wrongdoing & law-breaking, how many of our leading politicians & journos might instead be living harder lives? 4/
Privilege can be a mind-cramping 'lived experience'. #Eton , for 1,300 boys, has 3 doctors, 5 fully qualified nurses, gazillions of teachers, assistants, & support staff. And space. So much space. Remember when Johnson Dec2020 said 'schools are safe'? 7/
So much unearned advantage. Remember 2017, when 2 teacher/examiners got suspended from #Eton & Winchester?
These are just the ones who got caught..
And what of the teachers who acted on leaked information? 8/ theguardian.com/education/2017…
UK needs scrutiny & dismantling of multiple layers of unearned advantage thru which people of modest talents & bad character rise, displacing others.
The lexicon of ‘diversity’ & ‘widening participation’ lacks ‘opportunity theft’ ‘unearned advantage’ ‘cheating’ 9/
#Eton teachers set 7 public exams taken by their own pupils, headteacher revealed at inquiry into exam integrity Nov 2017. How many private school teachers set exams? What impact on the education, results & life chances of state school students? 10/ theguardian.com/education/2017…

Police watchdog IOPC said: "this appears to be a one-off incident rather than a pattern of behaviour" and "wd not meet the threshold for justifying disciplinary proceedings".

Andy's arrest comes the day after authoritarian minister for Equalities (yes, Equalities) @KemiBadenoch smeared brilliant journo Nadine White @Nadine_Writes , exposing White to predictable trolling and abuse. 2/
Liz Truss @trussliz played the same dirty trick on @Halima_Begum CEO @RunnymedeTrust, using inflammatory language *in Parliament* that she must have known would expose Begum to trolling, abuse & threats of harm. 3/
For many years @MagnumPhotos has made money from outing abused children as “child prostitutes” — names, towns, recognisable locations.
Some prize-winning images are child porn site faves.
"If anyone reading this is still wondering why so many photographers want to shoot children being abused it’s because @MagnumPhotos made it profitable."
