1) @JudySgroMP stood with #Iran’s people by chairing a Canadian Parl. session in which Iranian opposition coalition NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi provided a report on #IranRevolution2022.
Why any Iranian, incl. @kshahrooz, would be against such an event is telling.
@JudySgroMP@kshahrooz 2)
While #Iran’s people are in the streets in unprecedented anti-regime protests, it is the duty of all Iranians abroad to be their voice & raise awareness about the regime’s human rights violations.
Demonizing Iranian opposition groups in such circumstances only benefits Tehran.
3) One of #Iran’s long-term investments has been planting certain “experts” in the West with the mission of providing a relatively acceptable picture of the situation on the ground in Iran and pushing the regime’s talking points in MSM. heshmatalavi.substack.com/p/how-mainstre…
4) Iran’s diaspora has a term for such news management, hashtad-beest, or “80/20,” meaning that 80% of the reporting focuses on the obvious/unavoidable, including mild/implied criticism of the regime, to establish credibility among foreign readers.
5) “Criticizing Iranian opposition” is arguably one of #Iran’s main talking points, along with claiming there is no credible opposition and alternative to the mullahs, and the West’s interests lies in focusing their effort on reforming (read appeasing) Tehran’s rulers.
6) Wasting one’s time and efforts on demonizing/discrediting any Iranian opposition group that you don’t agree with effectively fuels the regime’s propaganda machine—especially if you claim to promote unity.
7) Bashing at the MEK, the main member of the Iranian opposition NCRI coalition, only benefits Tehran and does nothing to help the brave Iranian protesters.
Also, debunked allegations against the MEK were launched and have long been parroted by Iran’s intel apparatus.
8) #Iran’s regime is constantly announcing the arrests & executions of PMOI/MEK members & sympathizers in Iran. This trend has continued for decades.
Parroting allegations against the PMOI/MEK is an insult to those who have lost their lives in the struggle against the regime.
9) #Iran’s regime is ruling with an iron fist. To live abroad and claim the PMOI/MEK lacks support inside the country without providing any proof is another insult to the over 120,000 PMOI/MEK members and supporters killed by the mullahs’ regime in the past 43 years.
10) Regardless of political affiliation, the Iranian diaspora should support #Iran’s protesters & focus on the regime by holding rallies, raising public awareness & organizing events with elected reps to pressure their govs to cut off all diplomatic/economic ties with Tehran.
11) NCRI/MEK agenda: holding elections in 6 months after the regime’s overthrow for #Iran’s people to elect their leaders.
12) At a time when #Iran’s protesters are courageously resisting the mullahs’ rule, bashing Iranian opposition groups/coalitions provides life support for Tehran.
Anyone doing so is either misinformed or has ulterior motives.

"Even in Syria they didn't use DShK heavy machine guns against the people!" the voice says.
