The hole damage was from a hail storm. The plants survived that damage. I appreciate a hardy plant that can withstand assaults from whatever is thrown at them. #elephantear

I've built miles of fences before, but this is my favorite one i've ever built. and all it cost was a few nails, some chainsaw gas! elcheapo #upcycling a problem tree in the yard that endangered the neighbors house.

yes thats cardboard in the garden. I'm a lazy gardner who doesn't like to pull weeds. The cardboard eliminates the sun reaching the grass, weeds, etc and they won't grown. This allows the vegetables to grow with no competition. #gardentip

#GardenTip: Hemp string is not strong enough to hold the weight of a bunchy of Climbing Pole Bean Plants (green beans). The next year I made a Trellis from Tree Branches.
