November 29, 1944 - Rhine River, Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin, France
1/Night. A Bristol Beaufighter crew (pilot Lieut. Edward A. Schlueter and radar observer Lieut. Donald J. Meiers of the 415th Night Fighter
2/ Squadron, and intelligence officer Capt. Fred B. Ringwald as observer) is on a bombing mission and flying above the Rhine River north of Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin, France. They see “eight to 10 bright orange lights off the left wing…flying through the air at high speed.” Neither
3/the airborne radar nor ground control registers anything nearby. Schlueter and Meiers also see red lights on November 26 above Mannheim, Germany. [Eberhart]

Today in UFO History - Two Objects Tracked By A/A Gun Radar - Al Chop Clearance Case
Nov. 25, 1952 - Canal Zone - Panama 1/ 6:06 P.M. to 11:47 p.m. Two objects traveling at an estimated speed of 275 mph were detected by radar attached to antiaircraft
2/ guns. The objects remained over the Canal Zone for 5 1/2 hours. Three Air Force bombers and a Navy patrol plane were sent up but were unable to catch the elusive objects. Maneuvering from 1000 feet to 28,000 feet in altitude. [Fran Ridge]
