4 years ago today, an anti-Semitic white supremacist killed 11 people in a Pittsburgh synagogue. It was the deadliest attack ever on the Jewish community in the US.

The shooter was motivated by the "great replacement" theory
The theory claims that Jews bring millions of immigrants to this country with the aim of "replacing" white people. The shooter wrote before the attack: "HIAS likes to bring invaders in that kill our people. I can't sit by and watch my people get slaughtered...I'm going in."
As you may recall, this murderous attack happened weeks before the election, during a time when Fox News & MAGA politicians were stoking fear of caravans of migrants.

Hateful, anti-Semitic rhetoric and conspiracies led to deadly violence in Pittsburgh.
