Shoji stared at the message on his phone from his mother in his dorm room.
/Family is coming to town. I hate to ask this of you, but please don't visit for the holidays. You know how they feel about your quirk. Sorry, honey.
Visit when they leave. Dad misses you, too./
If he were anyone else, he would feel something. Sadness. Anger. Maybe he would cry. But he was used to it. His whole village didn't like him.
His own family despised him. He got up to unpack his bags and prepare to spend the holiday alone at the dorms, but then he heard a knock. He went over and answered and saw Izuku.
"Midoriya. Can I help you?"
"Hi Shoji. The class is downstairs saying bye to each other, but you weren't down there. You'll miss the bus to go to your family."
"Oh, sorry. I lost track of time. And besides, I'm staying here.
My mother told me we have family visiting and asked me to not come."
Izuku looked upset and concerned.
"What? Are you ok?"
Shoji nodded, saying "I've grown numb to it."
"So you're really just gonna stay here?"
"I am. I have nowhere else to go, but I'll be ok."
Izuku watched as Shoji went back to unpack, coming up with something.
"Why don't you spend the holidays with my mom and I?"
Shoji looked back in shock.
"Oh no. I couldn't do that to you and your mother. That's supposed to be time spent with family."
"Shoji, the whole class is like my family. That includes you.
I'll call my mom and let her know you're coming, 'kay? She won't mind."
"...Are you sure?"
"Of course I am! Give me a minute."
Izuku then walked down the hall, calling Inko.
"Hello? Mom?"
/"Izuku, baby? Are you on your way?"/
"Not yet, but I have a question."
/"What is it?"/
"My friend, Shoji, has no one to spend the holidays with and I was wondering if he could spend it with us? He has nowhere else to go and he planned on just staying here at the dorms."
/"Of course, Izuku. Let him know he is more than welcome to join us./
"Thank you, Mom!"
/"Oh and Izuku. Quick question."/
"Yes, mom?"
/"Shoji is the one you like, right?"/
"Mom!"
Izuku immediately started blushing like a mad man before hanging up on his laughing mother.
"Is everything alright, Midoriya?"
Izuku turned around nervously.
"Oh, it's nothing to worry about! Just my mom being mom!"
"So what did she say?"
"You're more than welcome to join us. Come on. Get packed again and let's meet downstairs."
"Ok. Thank you, Midoriya."
Shoji then turned around and went back to repack as Izuku, still blushing, rushed downstairs.
A few hours later, Izuku and Shoji had arrived at Izuku's home and were drinking hot tea while watching a movie. Inko came in from grocery shopping.
"Shoji, honey. What do you like to eat?"
Shoji, who got up to help her carry her groceries, was a little caught off guard.
"Oh you don't have to make me anything specific, ma'am. I do appreciate just being invited."
"Dear, you are our guest and I want you to feel welcome, you hear me? Favorite food. Now."
"...Takoyaki, ma'am."
They set the grocery bags on the counter.
"Good. Now go rest. Thank you for your help."
"Do you need any help cooking, ma'am?"
Izuku seemingly got excited, too.
"Yeah, mom! We can all make dinner together!"
"Ok, boys. Wash your hands first. Then we'll get started."
Both Izuku and Shoji proceeded to wash their hands and go back to help Inko with dinner. While making dinner, Inko couldn't help but notice Izuku and Shoji messing around with each other, the blush obvious on Izuku's face and the way Shoji looks at Izuku warms her heart.
After dinner, Izuku had to run to the store and Inko and Shoji were cleaning up.
"Thank you, ma'am. Everything was delicious."
"You can just call me 'Inko', dear."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course."
"Ok..."
"So, Shoji. I have a question..."
Shoji looked at Inko in curiosity.
"Is something wrong?"
"No, dear. I just want to know... how do you feel about my son?"
Shoji's eyes widened in shock.
"Oh... um... well... he uh- he's honestly probably the nicest person at UA. He never once has judged anybody based on their quirk or their looks. He's a really great... friend..."
"Friend, huh? Do you want him to be more?"
"I would be lying if I said I didn't think about it. He's the only one to treat me like I'm human. It feels nice."
Shoji's eyes widened once more before he looked back at Inko.
"I would of course ask for your blessing first! I wouldn't want to be disrespectful!"
Inko couldn't help but laugh.
"You already have it, my dear. Just promise you'll go at your own pace. Don't rush."
Shoji nodded.
"Thank you, Inko. And I promise."
The door then opened. Izuku ran in with wrapping paper and bags.
"My room is off-limits right now! Don't come in!"
He ran to his room, slamming the door shut.
"Excited as ever. Shoji, the bathroom is just down the hall if you want to take a shower, 'kay?"
Shoji then nodded as Inko finished the last dirty dish and sat down on the couch.
After a little bit, Izuku knocked on the guest room door. Shoji answered and to Izuku's shock, Shoji was only wearing sweatpants with the waistband of his boxers peeking out and the towel hanging around his neck, along with his signature face mask.
It was clear Shoji had just finished taking a shower. Izuku immediately started blushing and tried to hide it.
"Can I help you, Midoriya?"
"I-I uh... I was just wondering if you wanted to uh- watch a movie with me in the living room?"
"Sure. Let me finish getting dressed and I'll be there in a minute."
"You're hot. I MEAN YOU GOT IT! That's what I totally meant to say!"
Shoji was thankful he was wearing the mask cause he definitely couldn't help but turn red as Izuku turned and ran off to the living room.
Shoji threw on his tank top and went out to join Izuku in the living room.
"What movie are we watching?"
Izuku looked over to Shoji.
"Oh I figured I'd let you pick. We have a bunch of movies on that shelf over there."
Shoji looked to see a bookcase full of movies. He went over to pick one out.
"Hm?"
Shoji pulled out a movie and handed it to Izuku. Izuku grabbed the movie.
"Scream?"
"Yeah, always been a fan of slasher films and I haven't seen the new one yet."
Izuku put the movie in.
"I think you'll like it. It's a good reboot."
Izuku and Shoji then sat down on the couch as they watched the movie.
Halfway through, Izuku had subconsciously started snuggling into Shoji.
"So who do you think the killer is?"
"The girl's boyfriend. It's always the boyfriend. Plus he's just a sloppy killer. And the other killer has to be her sister's best friend."
Izuku simply hummed since he already saw the film and knew.
When the film was over, Izuku had fallen asleep and Shoji had finally noticed Izuku was cuddling him and couldn't but wrap his arms around the greenette, eventually falling asleep himself. Inko came out to check on the boys and smiled when she saw them laying down together.
It was now Christmas morning and Izuku woke up to see Shoji and Inko cooking breakfast. He got up and approached them.
"Good morning. Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas, sweetie. Ready to open presents? We were waiting for you."
"Mhm. What about you, Shoji?"
"I'm ready whenever you are."
Izuku smiled as he ran to go grab the presents he got for the both of them.
They all sat around the tree as they opened presents. Shoji handed his gift to Izuku.
"I got presents for the class, so I just brought yours here that way I had something to give you for today."
Izuku smiled as he opened the present to see a handmade canvas painting of All Might in his Silver Age costume.
"Did you make this?"
"Yeah. I've always liked painting. It was always an outlet for me at home when I didn't really leave my house."
"I love this, Shoji! Thank you so much!"
"I'm glad!"
Izuku then ran and grabbed his present for Shoji, handing it to him.
"Here's your's."
Shoji opened it to see a poncho handmade to look like his hero costume's design.
"I made it myself using my mom's sewing machine before the movie last night. I know you like to wear ponchos during this time of year since there isn't a lot of jackets that are designed for your quirk."
Shoji put it on. It was really soft and warm.
"Thank you, Midoriya. It really means a lot."
Izuku smiled at him, glad that Shoji had liked his gift. Inko couldn't help but smile, too. But now she had to switch gears. It was time to put her small plan into motion.
"Boys, do you mind getting breakfast finished. I have to grab one quick thing."
"Sure thing, mom!"
"Of course, Inko."
Izuku and Shoji both stood up and went to the kitchen as Inko took out a hidden wooden pole with a mistletoe tied to the end. However, before she could even do anything, she heard Shoji speaking.
"So... um... Midoriya. I was wondering if I could ask you something?"
Izuku looked at him, confused.
"What is it? Is something wrong?"
"No. I was just wondering if maybe sometime, I could take you out to dinner? You're a really nice guy and you always make me feel... normal. Like my quirk doesn't make me a monster. I would love to get the chance to be your boyfriend if possible."
Izuku smiled warmly in Shoji's direction.
"Shoji, you are normal. And your quirk doesn't make you a monster. All I see is a hero. And if I'm being honest, I've sorta.... maybe... slightly... have had the biggest crush on you for awhile now, but I was too scared to say anything.
So yes, I would love to go to dinner with you."
However, when they finished talking, they looked up to see the mistletoe hanging over them and to see Inko holding it up while trying not to cry.
Izuku looked back at Shoji and went to kiss him on the cheek, but was stopped by the taller man.
"I trust you."
Shoji then pulled down his mask, despite his clear nervousness.
"You're beautiful, Shoji."
Shoji couldn't help but smile as he placed a kiss on Izuku's lips.
"My baby boy has a boyfriend!"
Izuku and Shoji broke apart before laughing. Izuku then turned back to Shoji.
"Thank you for everything, Midoriya."
"Call me Izuku. We are a couple now so it only makes sense."
"Then call me Mezo, okay?"
Izuku nodded as Shoji pulled his mask back up and they went on to serve breakfast.
Shoji and Izuku were walking back to the dorms, with Shoji wearing his poncho to keep warm. He tightened his grip on Izuku's hand.
"Do you think they'll be ok with us being together...?"
Izuku looked up at him and hugged his arm.
"I'm positive. And besides, we shouldn't care what they think as long as we're happy, right?"
Shoji couldn't help but smile and formed a mouth on one of his dupli-arms to place a kiss on Izuku's cheek.
"Now come on. Let's go, Mezo."
They entered the dorms, still holding hands when Ashido noticed.
"O... M... G!"
Hagakure and Uraraka rushed in.
"Is eveything ok, Mina? Toru and I heard you scream!"
"Shoji and Midoriya are holding hands! Are you guys a couple and didn't tell anyone?!"
Izuku rubbed the back of his head, nervously.
"Well, we actually didn't get together until Christmas."
Katsuki, Kaminari, and Kirishima soon entered the room behind Izuku and Shoji.
"Hmph! Finally got the balls to confess nerd?"
"Actually, Mezo confessed first."
"So your still weak!"
"Chill out, Bakubro."
Kirishima then looked at the couple.
"You guys are so manly!"
"Thank you, Kirishima. Izuku and I are really happy."
"That's really awesome! Hey, you guys should go on a double date with Shinso and me!"
"That sounds like fun, Kaminari! What do you think, Mezo?"
"Yeah. That sounds like fun."
"Awesome! I'll start group chat for us 4 and we can plan it!"
"Ok, Kaminari."
Izuku then turned back to Shoji.
"Wanna go unpack?"
Shoji nodded as they walked to Shoji's room. Shoji set down his bag as he laid down on his mattress.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah. Just... it feels weird to not be judged about something."
Izuku laid down next to him.
"But it's like we said, as long as we're happy, then that's what matters."
Shoji then pulled his mask down, this time wanting to kiss Izuku normally.
"I love you, Izuku."
"I love you too, Mezo. Now nap. I can tell you're tired."
Shoji chuckled slightly as he wrapped his arms around the greenette.
"Only if you stay with me."
"Deal."

Izuku and Katsuki are together and truly in love, but someone is jealous. Kirishima always wanted to be with Katsuki and the BaluSquad felt the same. Kirishima was such a better fit for Katsuki. So they hatched a plan.
Sero knocked on Izuku's dorm room door. Izuku answered and asked what Sero wanted. Sero askes to come in and Izuku let him. Sero then told Izuku that Katsuki was planning on breaking up with Izuku to be with Kirishima. Izuku was confused he thought Katsuki loved him.
Sero then says there is one more thing. He then kisses Izuku and Izuku gives in. That's when the BakuSquad barges in and tells Katsuki that Izuku was cheating on him. Sero then stands up, yelling that Izuku told him he broke up with Katsuki already. Izuku's confused by-

When Izuku had wished that he could getaway from home for a day, this is not what he meant. He went to bed in his apartment and when he woke up, he was chained in a-

"Get over here, meatbag!"
Izuku rushed over to King Katsuki's side. Katsuki shoved a scroll into Izuku's hand.
"Take that to the Draculain Chapel in town."
Izuku bowed politely and nervously.
"Yes, your majesty."
But before Izuku could leave, Katsuki grabbed his wrist tightly.
