The answer is “highly unlikely.” We do not see Charlie Sheen or Kanye West being stripped of legal capacity. And when the Nat'l Center for State Courts considered dozens of cases of conservatorship fraud, most cases involved women.

For a gender that has been historically erased or marginalized, this is deeply troubling.
