#NEW: Teḥrīk-e-Ṭālibān Pākistān has announced that 3 more militant groups have pledged allegiance to Mufti Noor Wali Mehsood.
Details: 3 leaders (Ahmed from Kurram agency, Saeedullah from Lucky Marwat & Jameel Madakhel from North Waziristan districts), along with dozens of fighters, pledged allegiance yesterday to the leader of Teḥrīk-e-Ṭālibān Pākistān - Mufti Noor Wali Mehsood.
3 more groups pledged allegiance to Mufti Noor Wali Mehsood yesterday.
On the other hand - 15 days into December, Teḥrīk-e-Ṭālibān Pākistān has claimed 31 attacks:
Teḥrīk-e-Ṭālibān Pākistān has issued a clarification: The name of the leader who pledged allegiance to Mufti Noor Wali Mehsood from North Waziristan district is Sirajuddin alias Khalid, not Jameel.
#Afghanistan: Islamic State Wilāyah Khorāsān claims to have attacked a bus that was carrying an Afghān Ṭālibān official with machine guns in Herāt city. The said official was killed, along with 2 of his companions, and 4 others suffered injuries.
#UPDATE: This week's an-Nabaʾ magazine provides some details about the attack:
A source told an-Nabaʾ that the attack was carried out by an Inghimāsī of the ISKP. The source revealed to an-Nabaʾ that the ISKP assailant appeared in a broad daylight...
It seems like the mention of the Coimbatore & Mangaluru blasts in the latest edition of the Voice of Khorāsān magazine has led to a kerfuffle. So, while the investigation goes on, here's my perspective on the whole saga:
The reason why “Voice of Khorāsān” chose to to mention the blasts in its 23rd edition is because “Sawt al-Hind” -- the magazine of Islamic State Wilāyah al-Hind - has been dormant for some 10 months now.
While a lot of people believe that the claims are dubious & exaggerated, they shouldn't be brushed off under the carpet, in my honest & humble opinion, as some utter tripe.
3 roz qabal ek mazmoon shayaa hua jiska mutalea karney ke baad hum is natije par pahuche ke ismey di hui ittelaat pehle hi iss platform pe shayaa ho chuki thi. Iske alawa al-Qāʿidah aur ad-Dawlah al-Islāmiyah se mutalliq ek baat likhi gayi thi jo ke intehaayi ghatiya thi.
Haalanki, agle roz, ye dekhne mein aaya ke uss mazmoon mein ab tarmeem ho chuki hai, jo ke badhiya baat hai. Der aaye, magar durust aaye.
Humare tawajjo dilane ke baad ye tarmeem toh ho gayi, magar, iss tarah se sar-e-aam kisi ke upar tanqid karna, ya zaleel karna, ya phir kisiki dil aazari karna humara maqsad nai hai.
#Afghanistan: Ẓabiullah Mujahid claims that Qari Fateh, ISKP head of eastern zone & intelligence chief of the group, has been killed in a raid last night in PD-17 of Kabul city. He also confirmed that Eijaz Ahmed Ahanger (former head of ISHP) was killed a fortnight ago in Kabul.
Eijaz Ahmed Ahanger was killed on February 14 in Kabul, along with 2 other members. One was captured alive. Islamic State Wilāyah Pākistān's (ISPP) official channel has confirmed Ahanger's death. Amaq is yet to release a poster or statement.
