Decades before so called Mother Teresa played on poverty of Hindus to make billions, this Irish showed to the Western World that Hindus are Daughter Sellers and Make their living out of running Prostitution.
In 1894, Amy received an invitation from a friend to join the Church
of England Zenana Mission in Bangalore and a year later in 1896, Amy went to go live in the Tirunelveli district with Reverend Thomas Walker and his wife who were CMS missionaries.
Amy learnt Tamil, started wearing Saree and mixing with Hindu women, slowly she spread the word
that and I quote
“Deeply rooted in the religion was the practice of selling little girls & boys who were unwanted to ‘marry’ the Brahmin temple priests. Amy became increasingly aware of the fact that many Indian children were dedicated to the gods by their parents or guardians,
became temple children, and lived in moral and spiritual danger”.
How she lured little girls to Christianity?
Amy realized that she must pretend to be an Indian and visit the temples herself. She would dye and stain her light skin brown with coffee or tea bags, and her brown
eyes helped her fit right in as a Hindu. No one would guess that the dark-skinned woman wearing a light blue sari, which was associated with the lowest caste, the untouchables, was a missionary from Ireland.

Amy Carmicahel born on this day in 1867, she spent her last 56 years
at India and 20 years of that as Crippled & Invalid.

In the month of Oct 1950, China Invaded Tibet and on Nov 7th , 38 Days Before His Death, The Deputy P M Sardar Patel wrote to P M Nehru

Let's Read What Made Patel Write To Nehru, Later Will Read What Was Written In It.
Few Months Before The
Attack On Tibet, #GirijaShankarBajpai, the secretary-general of the MEA and Commonwealth relations warned Sardar Patel about K M Panikker, the ambassador to China & Nehru’s blue eyed boy.

On July 15, 1950, Assam Gov
informed Delhi that, according to the information received by
the local intelligence, Chinese troops, “in unknown strength, had been moving towards Tibet from three directions.” Not only was Panikkar unable to get any confirmation, but he virtually justified
Beijing’s military action by writing: “In view of frustration in regard to

21 Years Ago, Our Parliament Was Attacked.

A brief thread....

Dec 13, 2001, a white Ambassador passed through the gates of parliament with the 'lal batti' & relevant permission stickers.

One person found that to be suspicious. We should be thankful to Kamlesh Kumari
for that.

The car instead of slowing down or maintaining speed, suddenly increased its speed.

Equipped with only a constable's baton and a walkie-talkie, Kamlesh Kumari started following the car and spotted 5 men, all heavily armed head towards the building.

As soon as she
noticed it, she raised an alarm - shouting as well as on the walkie talkie.

This first step from her gave the CRPF personnel a few additional crucial seconds to tackle the terrorists.

She ran towards a constable to alert him of the terrorists but the terrorists opened fire

#ForgottenHeroes

It was Dec 12, 1930, Mumbai.

A freedom fighter, #BabuGenuSaid
inspired by Gandhi's Ahimsa, staged a protest against the transport of a truck carrying foreign-made cloth through the Kalbadevi area.

Babu was an illiterate cotton mill worker & labour unionist,
who bought into Gandhi’s vision of Swadeshi and made it his life’s work to defeat the forces of economic colonialism, using non-violent means.

On this day in 1932, George Frazier, a cloth merchant from Manchester, who owned the consignment of foreign-made clothes, was afforded
protection by the British police.

Babu dared British & stood in front of the truck shouting Gandhi's name, the Bharatiya truck driver refused to move the vehicle on him saying he can't kill his brother, this irritated the British Officer who took the steering in his hands.

#SubramanyaBharati – The Warrior Poet.

A R Venkatachalapathy in his book “Who Owns That Song” compares Subramania Bharati with Tagore, and he writes…
Why is Subramania Bharati not as well-known as Rabindranath Tagore?
The Nobel Prize? Part of the answer but not the whole.
A R V gives a most meaningful illustration about Bharati, he says Bharati’s life was short. Of his thirty-nine years, over ten were spent in exile in Pondicherry to escape the British Indian police. At a time when Tagore was being feted, Bharati was pleading with the governor
of Madras for justice. If the crowds at the time of Tagore’s death caused near riots, Bharati’s funeral procession drew eleven persons and there was a confusion over who would light the pyre.

Mahakavi Bharathiyar is considered to be one of the greatest Tamil poets of the

It was the 8th of December 1930. The Writer’s Building in Kolkata, the administrative nerve centre of the city, was buzzing with activity as usual.
British officers, and Bengali clerks, ImageImage
were doing their regular business. It was then that three men shattered the silence, with a deafening roar that would echo through the ages.
The three men, Benoy, Badal and Dinesh Chandra Gupta, were influenced by revolutionary activities and had decided to take matters into
their own hands.
Benoy Krishna Basu was born on 11th September 1908, in the village of Rohitbhog in Munshiganj district, now in Bangladesh. After passing the matriculation exam, he enrolled in the Sir Salimullah Medical College (erstwhile Mitford Medical School). Influenced by
