2. We remember the fight for women's rights. We know about the campaign to ensure that marital rape became criminal - only in 1989 was this achieved.

3. We know too of the Matrimonial Homes(Family Protection) (Scotland) Act 1981 when for the first time women had the right to seek a safe home, exclude a violent partner and gain a transfer of tenancy.

4. In our sights are failures of the SG who have repeatedly surrendered women's rights to men's feelings.

5. single sex spaces and services should be sacrosanct; that they are not tells you all you need to know about the priorities of the SG.

6. #SexNotGender was a battle we thought we won decades ago; it's being fought once more because we are governed by cowards. Ask your MSP how she or he is voting and require an explanation.

7. Every one of our MSPs who elects to permit men's access to women's spaces and services must be accountable; we pay their wages so that they represent us, not promote their captured unpopular and dangerous views.

8. If you think you may be in hospital soon, ask your MSP how @ShonaRobison's promise of single sex wards is coming along.

9. If you want to debate prisons, I shall say only that 40% of MtF transgender prisoners are sex offenders; women in prison do not deserve to be invaded by the foxes in the chicken coop.

10. If you or your Mum, sister, daughter, partner, friend is disabled and you'd like them to have same sex care, ask your MSP how they aim to achieve this. If you don't make your views known, it's on you when a bloke chaps the door.

11. In broad terms, about 10% of MtF transpeople have surgery; so about 90% of those currently describing themselves as trans male to female have male bodies. Once the medical diagnosis is removed, with self ID, any man who says he is a woman is in law female.

12. This is not a 'minor administrative change' - it is a radical move opening the door to abuse and manipulation. Scotland can do far better by having a respectful debate where all civilised voices are heard and respected.

13. When dissenting or anxious voices are ridiculed, by being described and delineated as 'not valid' this does not augur well; it suggests bad law, expensive law, law which does not reflect public opinion, and law which will be overturned.

14. We are represented by MSPs who have not read the CASS review, who do not believe that it's possible to change sex, who see that self ID is a charter for predators - but they are voting for it anyway.

15. Careerists. Devoid of shame. Lacking accountability. Out of touch. They won't be in the prisons, refuges and wards where this has an impact. Theirs are not the butterfly stitches evidencing pain.

16. A long time ago I met a group of women who'd been abused by several male relatives; children were born of incest. Harm of the worst kind. Should they 'reframe trauma' and 'expect to be challenged' if unwilling to share safe space with men?
