Q1/ Are you forced to transition from LKMEX V1 to V2?

A: No, if you don't do it, you will just have the normal unlock schedule. And you will still get the benefits of the V2. You still get all the energy based on the average locking time.
If you don't convert your LKMEX to V2, you cannot speed up unlocking your LKMEX for a removal fee.

Also, you cannot add more energy to it if you don't convert it to V2.
