This switch will passively monitor the driver for signs of impairment and can disable the vehicle accordingly. Systems like this are prone to error and will likely lead to greater safety risks. (2/5)

This measure raises serious legal issues due to its potential infringement of the 5th and 6th Amendments, as well as the possibility of unauthorized third-party access to the collected data. Yet another form of a “Social Credit Score.” (3/5)

If the mandate is not removed or rewritten, the individual freedom of car ownership will be lost to future generations. This is not to condone impaired driving, but the Governmental overreach must be reeled in to prevent further degradation of our rights. (4/5)
