Why Cardano is better than Ethereum with STATISTICS!

A Thread:
1. Cardano is built on a foundation of peer-reviewed research and academic rigor, ensuring that the underlying technology is well-designed and reliable. With 169 papers being published, Cardano is the biggest contributor to Blockhain Research.
2. Cardano uses a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm, which is more efficient and scalable than the proof-of-work algorithm previously used by Ethereum. Ethereum's POS development is far off being complete and years behind Cardano.
2.1 In #Cardano you can stake your $ADA no matter how much you have!

However in Ethereum
You can only participate in Validation if you have a minimum of 32 $ETH,
or you have to depend upon centralized/permissioned staking providers like Lido, Coinbase, or Kraken to earn a yield
2.2 Secondly, you can unstake your $ADA at any time.

Your ETH is locked for however long it takes the devs to do the Shanghai-update. We have no real timeframe for this!

No set date, the devs can really just do what they want.
3. Staking Ratio

#Cardano has a staking ratio of 71%

Whereas #Ethereum has a staking ratio of 13%
4. Number of wallets involved in staking

#Cardano : 1,245,326
#Etherium: 91,700

#Cardano has 14x more participation than #Ethereum
5. Most Cardano wallets are staking on L1 compared to etheriuEthereumm where the vast majority is staked on 3rd party applications

59.6% of staked ETH controlled by 5 entities

This is a really threatening attack vector stat
6. Cardano is backed by a strong and supportive community of developers and users, who are committed to driving the long-term success and adoption of the platform.

Github Commits
Cardano : 304 per day average
Etherium :125 per day average

Haskell ROCKS!

#Cardano is built with #Haskell, and there's a good reason for it.
1. Haskell is a functional programming language that is known for its purity, expressiveness, and ability to handle complex systems.
2. One of the key benefits of Haskell is its strong type system, which helps to ensure the correctness and reliability of code. This is especially important in the context of a blockchain like Cardano, where the integrity of the system depends on the accuracy of the code.

"Did you know that over 1 billion adults around the world don't have a bank account?
1. That's a staggering number of people who are left out of the traditional financial system, particularly in poorer countries where access to the necessary documents and infrastructure may be limited. #unbanked #financialinclusion
2. Without a bank account, it's much harder for individuals to save money, make payments, or access credit.

This can perpetuate a cycle of poverty and financial exclusion, especially in countries with high levels of income inequality. #poverty #financialexclusion

NFT's are to focused on just art at the moment!

Four Potential USE CASES for NFT's besides art

A thread
1. Digital Identity

The ability to create a digital fingerprint that can be minted as a NFT Non-tradable NFT.
1.1

Atala Prism is focused on building self owned, digital identities- starting in Africa. It’s based on fingerprints, not NFTs, but the premise of a mobile, self owned identity is similar in concept.

My 2023 Goals

I break them down into two sections:

Specific: SMART ( Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, Time Bound)

Broad Goals: less concentrated in scope, focus on improving performance across a wide range of metrics
Specific Goals give you actionable steps, while Broad goals keep you from straying from the path!
My Specific Goals:

- 100k Twitter Followers
- $10k USD per month by December
- Launch my own #Cardano Project
- Biggest and best Cardano podcast
- One meal per day until sufficiently lean
