Repo rate is a type of interest rate! 🏦💵

It is the rate at which the central bank of a country (Reserve Bank of India) lends money to commercial banks in the event of any shortfall of funds.

Repo rate is used by monetary authorities to control inflation.
What interest rates mean to different stakeholders :

• Borrower: The price he pays for the use of money
(loan)

• Lender like banks: The "fee" earned for taking the
risk to extend loan

• Saver & investor: The return on investment from
savings a/c, FD or bond

• Shiva Global Agro +2.6%

• Krishana Phoschem-2.04%
• Rama Phosphates-1.77%

The Samridhi Kendras will modernize agriculture and will function as helping centres for farmers.

PM said the fertilizers will be rebranded as "Bharat" to help farmers and it will decrease the prices of major fertilizers as transportation costs will be regulated.
Farmers have been provided 22 crore soil cards to check the health of the soil.

Also, as part of observing the Millets Year in 2023, the Center will promote the cultivation of millets.
