New research which was published recently from the University of California has given a paralyzed man the ability to communicate by converting his brain EEG signals into computer-generated writing.
This is a significant milestone toward restoring communication for people who have lost their ability to speak.
With about ~93% accuracy the model decoded the participants' words at a rate of up to 18 per minute.
