25th of this month we get the UK census data on "gender identity" responses broken down by age group.
My prediction: Strong skew to younger demographics claiming an identity different from their sex. ons.gov.uk/releasecalenda…
Why is this interesting? Well, if the trans activist ideologues are correct, then the trans population is a stable, ongoing component of the whole population, and we should expect roughly even proportions of people identifying as trans across all age groups.
If on the other hand "trans" is to any extent a fad, a youth movement, or an emergent neo-religion, we will see a related correlation with age.
This exact skew was apparent in Canada's census. Trans identification varied from 0.79% to 0.12% by age group. www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quoti…
The obvious defence trans activists will mount, is that this skew is a result of previous generations either not realising they are trans (the Many Old Eggs Theory), or this older demographic not feeling as comfortable disclosing their trans status.
These are IMO an extremely /
/ tough sell. Canada has been absolutely suffused with "trans" stories and ideas for a good many years prior to this census. It's bordering on absurd to suggest large numbers of the older demographic have not had cause to consider if it was an idea that applied to them. And as /
/ for the "greater discomfort in disclosing" theory; I could buy that if the dataset was a result of people coming out as trans publicly, but it's not. I can't imagine a lower barrier to entry than privately ticking a box on a form that nobody in your life will see. The idea /
/ would seem comparable to suggesting something like:
"loads of people *actually* support [political party x], but you don't see that reflected in election results because they're too embarrassed to vote for them"
Anyone? 🤷♂️
Frustratingly, the Canadian census did not ask a question about sexuality so we can't draw comparisons, but the UK census did. We should get the sexuality by age group info in the same release as the GI data, on the 25th!
I'm gonna hesitantly predict a slight correlation /
/ with age, with youth being mildly more likely to describe themselves as non-heterosexual. We will see...
However it comes out I think comparing these two sets of data will be very informative of the real nature of the "trans" phenomenon. 🤓 #nerdstuff #GenderCritical

Shona Robinson: "I could point to the BBC poll conducted earlier this year, that showed support for this bill - particularly among women, actually - and *SUPPORT FOR REDUCING THE AGE TO 16*..."
Tonight during the #GRRBill debate, and prior to voting for the relevant amendments, @ShonaRobison told Holyrood that this BBC poll showed Scots *support* lowering the minimum age of applicants from 18 to 16 👇
Scottish parliament just voted 59 to 64 against an amendment that would have prevented registered sex offenders from being able to #SelfID under the proposed #GRRBill.
No democratic mandate whatsoever for any of this...
Shouts of *shame on all of you* from the gallery! 💪
"TherEs nO conNNecTioN beTweEn the TwaNs C0mUniTY aNd $eX oFfendErs!" we hear, over and over again, ignoring the anecdotes and evidence to the contrary, with varying degrees of credulity.
Why vote to make sure they can get a GRC then? WHY?
[🧵] Absolutely shameful #misogyny on clear display from Dr James Barrett. This man is as elite and respected as it is possible to be within the UK "gender medicine" establishment. @TaviAndPort
👆In a 2009 report, Barrett denigrated women prisoners who may object to the presence in their estate of a man convicted of killing his partner. This prisoner(AB) hid the corpse for 3 weeks.
5 days after release AB committed a violent attempted rape of a woman, which /
/ only stopped because of erectile dysfunction.
The parole board had 2 years prior identified risk factors of:
"anger and frustration..., thinking patterns and attitudes relating to violence and weapons, sex offending... and the risk to life and limb.." Para. 6. paraphrased

[🧵] Since #TransWomenAreConMen is trending, here's a relevant anecdote that I found while researching for a video.
In this court case from 2018, an applicant for a gender recognition certificate appealed against the panel's multiple decisions to reject their application.👇
The whole thing makes *VERY* informative and enraging reading, but here are some highlights.... /
/ The applicant, Jay, was a trans identifying male prisoner, divorced from his third marriage, who had been convicted of "obtaining explosives with *intent to endanger life*" 😬😬😬
"Who's life?" seems like a pertinent question? Sadly I don't have that info.... /
/
Nobody is being prevented from saying it.
No movement exists based around disbelieving it.
No university anywhere in the world has a "Water is dry" department.
Governments / policymakers etc don't appear to have taken any position on water's wetness or dryness.
/
/
Wish I could say the same about "trans".
You wanna see some consistency?
Get a "water is dry" law into the statue book.
Put it in schools curriculums.
Create a branch of academia founded around the precept "liquid is a social construct".
