🏠 Household bills are to be £500 lower than feared in the second half of this year after gas prices dropped to their lowest levels since before the war in Ukraine.

🔴 Investec on Wednesday forecast that the energy price cap, which dictates what suppliers can charge customers, will be as low as £2,600 per year from July.

That is nearly £500 less than the wealth management firm's previous forecast.
