Have you ever wondered if former DC Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone was a J6 hero or J6 villain? I certainly have. I'll share my thoughts about the officer in this thread. Love your feedback in the comments.
It is important to note that Officer Fanone wasn't assigned to the Capitol - instead after hearing about the protests he decided to head to the Capitol without permission. Reportedly telling a colleague he was ready to give a 'beatdown' to #MAGA thugs.
Fanone, a registered Democrat and avid hunter, had been working a plainclothes desk job at Police HQ for a 10yrs - hearing about the protests he and his partner Jimmy Albright 'suited up' in riot gear and rushed to the Capitol looking for a fight.
Fanone jumped into the melee and began giving the 'MAGA thugs' the beatdown of their lives but before long the tables turned and he became the victim instead of the aggressor. Their attack on Fanone wasn't justified but it was foreseeable.
To be VERY clear there is NO justification for protestors' attack on Fanone and EVERYONE that participated in the attack on him should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law - and if Fanone engaged in police brutality he too should be prosecuted.
In fact, the rioter who dragged Fanone into the crowd, Albuquerque Head, 43, of Tennessee, was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison - one of the longest sentences to date in the Capitol riot cases - I suspect he deserves it. nbcnews.com/politics/justi…
Soon after, Fanone began a daily media tour arranged by the Democrat Party to transform a four-hour protest/riot at the Capitol into a seditious conspiracy and insurrection almost resulting in a bloody coup d'é·tat. Fanone was complicit in their lie.
Between his TV appearances, Fanone would return to his tiny cubicle at police HQ but couldn't help but think that he could be doing more for the country working full-time as an activist against Trump and the GOP. His talent agent told him to retire.
His fellow officers began ostracizing him for exaggerating the four-hour protests and many of his colleagues believed he was 'asking for it'. In their eyes, the desk jockey had no business at the Capitol that day. politico.com/news/magazine/…
When lawmakers invited him to their offices to discuss his experience at the Capitol the DC officer wore a police-issued wiretap device to illicitly record the lawmakers - tapes he leaked to the press. politico.com/news/magazine/…
Fanone told Rolling Stone, “I was like, I’ve got nothing better to do today. I’m going to go annoy some people on Capitol Hill”. Rolling Stone reviewed the wiretaps and talked to Fanone about his visit. His statements are chilling.
Speaking of those visits, fuck the “fucking fat fuck” chief of staff who had the gall to ask to see Dunn’s badge that day “I was like, ‘Here’s my badge number: One,’” says Fanone, holding up his middle finger. “I eat that shit for breakfast”
Fuck Marjorie Taylor Greene (“Put her in the tinfoil-hat brigade”) and Andrew Clyde (“When confronted in person, he fucking folded like a fucking deck of cards”)
Matt Gaetz (“I mean, dude, there’s a constituency out there somewhere in America that elected Matt Gaetz and decided that guy somehow embodied what it is to be a real red-blooded American. A fucking pedo. I don’t get it”).
Fuck Josh Hawley. “He comes down there, flashes the sign of solidarity, riles up this fucking crowd,” Fanone says of Hawley’s actions during the insurrection. “I would’ve had more respect for him if he said, ‘Charge!'
Definitely fuck Kevin McCarthy, who, as Fanone describes in the first chapter of his memoir, Hold the Line (out Oct. 11), lied and deflected his way through a meeting with Fanone and Jan. 6 casualty Brian Sicknick’s mother — the dead man’s mother...
With stars in his eyes, Fanone signed a book deal, secured a job with CNN making more than he made as a cop - explaining that it leaves him plenty of time for his useless, lazy coonhound named Buddy and drinking beer. minnpost.com/eric-black-ink…
After Fanone announced his retirement from the DC police CNN announced that they had hired him as their 'law enforcement analyst' - a position that pays him more than the DC police did - with a lot less work. thehill.com/homenews/media…
So where did Fanone grow up? The J6 Star's father was a powerful DC lawyer and his mother was a successful social worker. They sent Fanone to the most prestigious school in the United States - Georgetown Prep - alma mata of two Supreme Court justices.
According to Rolling Stone Fanone wasn't a big rule follower as a cop. Once he pulled up behind his friend’s stolen Chevy and instead of reporting it he got into a high-speed chase with the thief who eventually totaled his friend's car.
Fanone gets calls from @SpeakerPelosi to check in, he regularly will spend a week at a time at Sean Penn's Malibu estate, he was Joan Baez's date to the Kennedy Center, he exchanges texts with Sturgill Simpson, & regularly meets @RepSwalwell for beers.
With a taste of the good life, despite his lucrative book deal and cushy CNN gig, Fanone claims he needs more money to support the life he's become accustomed to. To that end he's asking for your support on GoFundMe: gofundme.com/f/michael-fano…
The people of Brazil aren't victims of a mass delusion. They're victims of a hostile takeover of their democracy by a communist regime with help from Biden's administration. They're fighting back because they've watched it happen before in Venezula. nytimes.com/2023/01/09/wor…
2/ Brazil's former democratically elected president, Jair Bolsonaro, was stabbed in the stomach during his campaign for the presidency - the communist who attacked him was set free and he's in a Florida hospital suffering from complications. npr.org/2019/06/15/733…
3/ Despite his critical condition the Biden administration wants to send former President Bolsonaro back to Brazil to face execution by the same communist regime who has arrested thousands of citizens who oppose their takeover of Brazil. washingtonpost.com/world/2023/01/…
Just days before the 2022 midterms AG Garland secretly ordered the FBI and US Attorney John Lausch to seize the classified records Biden retained while serving as Obama's VP left in a closet in a multitenant office building in Washington DC.
2/ BIDEN CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS🧵
Biden's lawyers were emptying the president's office at the Penn Biden Center when they found highly sensitive classified documents Biden illegally removed from the White House when he served as vice president.
3/ BIDEN CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS🧵
CBS reporters acting on a tip learned of the classified documents left in an unsecured office and were told the documents included sensitive nuclear secrets. The DOJ told the reporters that no nuclear codes were among the documents.
@SpeakerMcCarthy removed the metal detectors in the House earlier this week. Ironically, the only gun problem at the Capitol is from the Capitol Police. This thread will detail just how big of a gun problem there is in Congress.
2/ CAPITOL GUN🔫CRISIS🧵
For example, Lt. Mike Byrd left his Glock 22 in a bathroom in the Capitol in 2019. It was the same gun he used to kill an unarmed female protester a year later. The gun was discovered “during a routine security sweep”.
3/ CAPITOL GUN🔫CRISIS🧵
Another officer left his Glock and magazine stuffed in the toilet seat cover holder of a Capitol Visitor Center bathroom stall in January 2015, where a CVC worker found the gun that doesn't feature a safety.
@SpeakerMcCarthy has claimed that one of the first things he will do is stop the IRS from hiring 87,000 IRS employees. Despite the fact that there is literally ZERO chance of this happening my Twitter feed is filled with people who believe it will happen.
2/ 87,000 IRS AGENTS🧵
Remember when the GOP took control of the House, Senate, and Presidency? Republicans promised to repeal ObamaCare aka the Affordable Care Act. Guess what never happened? We never repealed it and it is STILL the law of the land. We had 100% control.
3/ 87,000 IRS AGENTS🧵
Fastforward to today and we've got a VERY slim majority in the House making the repeal of the Inflation Reduction Act (it included the $80B for the IRS) literally impossible. Worse yet it is unlikley to even pass the House as many GOP members support it.
1/ JOURNALISM🧵The next time you are reading a news article stop and look at the journalist's Twitter profile and see who they are following. It is always fascinating. I'm curious what you think their followings mean. I have a few ideas.
2/ JOURNALISM🧵I've noticed that younger journalists with fewer than 30,000 followers tend to follow other journalists almost exclusively. I can't help but think this puts them into an echo chamber of ideas.
3/ JOURNALISM🧵Older journalists with more than 100,000 followers tend to follow a wide variety of people including US Attornies, religious leaders, and many relatively obscure pundits who primarily share their ideas on Twitter.
Conspiracy 🧵1/ a week ago Virgin Islands Attorney General sued JP Morgan for looking the other way and enabling Jeffery Epstein. Discovery was going to be epic.
