Senior Labour and Liberal Democrat MPs have scolded the Government for using £45 million in ‘levelling up’ funding in an attempt to fix Brexit-related queues in Dover.

This is the price the country pays for Johnson's reckless legacy, the Tories much trumpeted 'levelling up' agenda is desperately trying to put sticking plasters on it's own cock ups. It was always going to be this way, Brexit cannot work.

Levelling up was supposed to be a jewel in the crown of Brexit dividends, but money is being diverted from lifting deprived communities out of Tory austerity measures to relieve traffic congestion in Dover, you couldn't make this shit up. #BrexitDisaster

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was captured on film in July stating that, while Chancellor, he changed the Government’s funding formulas that previously “shoved all the funding into deprived urban areas”. “I started the work of undoing that,” he claimed.

Guess where the rest of the public's money goes? Sunak’s relatively affluent Richmond constituency in North Yorkshire benefitted to the tune of £19 million.
Like free speech 'levelling up' is very selective.

52 Conservative constituencies benefit from funding, more than double the figure represented by Labour MPs. The bigger picture is that donor money and public money are in the hands of economic terrorists who are shaping the UK into zones of competition and extreme affluence.
