Many of you are aware of a new documentary series, produced by the BBC on PM @narendramodi

In the first episode, @BBCTwo tried to give a clean chit to the extremists who set the Sabarmati Express on fire in Godhra & burnt 59 Hindu pilgrims alive.

Here is the truth (1/n):

At about 9:12 minutes into the episode, it claimed,

"The final death toll was 59 and the cause of the fire was disputed. But at the time, Muslims were blamed."

So who burnt the train? The judgment of the special fast track court on March 1, 2011, has the answer. (2/n)

11 extremists were handed the death penalty for orchestrating the carnage.

6 years later in 2017, their death penalty was commuted to life imprisonment.

And this is without accounting for the 20 other extremists who were awarded life imprisonment originally on March 1, 2011.

Now, tell me the religion of these men @BBCTwo ? Shamelessness has a limit. You cannot dispute a truth that is carved in stone.

I am tired. For the past 20 years, the 59 Hindu pilgrims who were charred to death have not been able to rest in peace. (9/n)

Their deaths have been subjected to vicious conspiracy theories, ranging from short-circuiting BS to RSS/BJP workers setting Sabarmati Express on fire.

These 59 victims (mostly women and children) need closure. And we know who killed them. (10/n)

The findings of the Nanavati-Mehta Commission& the final Special Investigation Team (SIT) tell us the reality.

It is not your truth vs my truth. This is everyone's truth & no conspiracy theories can hide the role of Islamists in the Godhra carnage.
