Some piece of crap kicked a woman’s car door in at South SALINAS’ Nob Hill grocery. The woman had three kids in her car and was scared. A witness came to my house to tell me about the crime because this dude was following him on a bike. He knocked on my door and I was home.

So I come out and this dude is talking smack to the witness, who is now a victim. The suspect comes up on my driveway and threatens the witness. So I gotta go back in my house - get my shoes on 🤣 and deal with it BUT

@SalinasPD (for once in a while) is in South.

Part 3

When I came out the door with my shoes on the suspect took off on his bike. (Yeah it’s a mentally ill unsheltered living on the Block dude). He blurts out my house number, says he will remember it and makes it down to the Temple Beth El which is at Riker and Nissen.

Part 4

I tell the witness to jump in my car and we get down to Riker at the Temple and the guy made contact with a high school kid’s car. The kid stopped like a good citizen (because he believed the contact was an accident and we train people well) cops roll up fast, two.

Part 5

And this is where the #Salinas community has to question why the @CityofSalinas is turning into a micro City and County of #SanFrancisco.

First for all the best cops like @MikeMuscutt - don’t get butt hurt. I know you dudes are the street sweepers of City policy.

My witness approaches the cops who have the suspect sprawled out in front of the Temple and this loser (5149 1/2) is talking mad shit to the police. They are perfectly fine. Then the dude starts threatening me from his snow Angel position. The epitome of tough guy. 🙄

My witness is now also a victim because of the statements made in my driveway to the witness.

* remember at this point the woman in the car isn’t in the area and as far as we know hasn’t been identified. A wit frm Nob Hill called it in. Citizens. The COMMUNITY is PISSED

Again no shade on the patrol cops (who I recognize and am familiar with) but it’s policy shit coming from CITY HALL, dudes like @stevemcshane (who at this point may be nuts) and @AnthonyRochaD6 who is anti-rule of law and pro “restorative Justice” whatever that means.

Part 9

It’s the community brush off patrol cops are INSTRUCTED to do in order to keep the gears rolling - since the court and jail is a revolving door. The suspect in the old days would get 3-6 months minimum in county jail for that act of neighbors petty criminal anti-social.

Body cams and rolling my final comment on body cam was to tel the suspect to shut up and to tell the patrol officer talking to my witness that I get it, that they are the street sweepers of the justice system and it’s gotten so bad that super scum, dangerous people

like Mike Hackett are given the revolving door and it’s tucked in under the opaque nature of “restorative” and that is how corruption flourishes.

The system needs a reboot and @supervisoraskew needs to go.
