As hundreds pack the hallway of the Nebraska state Capitol, the @NebraskaFreedom Coalition is in hearing room 1113 to bring you testimonials for and against LB 314, 17, and Constitutional Carry - LB77. We will be testifying in support of LB 77 later today 👍🇺🇲 Stay tuned... 👀

@MomsDemand is on site, as is representation from @GunOwners of America, who passed out these hats to those waiting in line 👍 a quick gauge of the crowd has those in favor of constitutional carry out numbering those against - 2 to 1 it would seem 💯 God bless America #2A 🇺🇲

Of note, Republican Senator Geist was at a campaign event earlier and missed the first of 3 bills! Last session, Geist did not support constitutional carry. We hope she gets real and listens to her constituents, in support of constitutional carry this session 👍

Senator Tom Brewer is getting ready to present his testimony on LB 77. They will hear from proponents first, and then swap the room out for those opposed as there are so many who have showed up today 🔫 #2A

Senator Brewer says he has brought this up time and time again as it's too important not to. His colleague, Republican Senator Suzanne Geist, who has not supported constitutional carry because of pressure from outside groups, listens on in the background...

Senator Blood, fresh off her failed gov bid, asks why we don't just follow what the federal government does? Senator Brewer explicitly states how there are many things the federal government has failed at, and that he is focused on what he can do for the state of Nebraska 💪👏

As testimony in support of constitutional carry continues on, with many more still to speak, it seems as if the line of opponents is 'Wayning'... (pun intended)

Now developing, the @Lincoln_Police Chief is lining up to testify against LB 77. As you can see, she is carrying a firearm... Will she be asked to put her firearm away while she testifies? Senator Wayne exclaimed guns were props in this instance. What standard will be followed 🤔

@OmahaPolice Chief is now testifying against LB 77 simply because crime is out of control in Omaha. Here's a novel concept, maybe if people were able to defend themselves, that would be a deterrent to crime... Much too simple a concept to grasp apparently 🤷‍♂️ #2A

Testifier from @MomsDemand says her friend was shot -in Chicago.. which has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Do these people not realize that criminals don't follow laws? Limiting law abiding gun owners doesn't keep anyone safer, these people are kidding themselves

Classic 'Judy' is back testifying, comparing Nebraska gun owners to terrorists. Listen for yourself. We're not really sure what else she is talking about but its a good representation of those who voiced their opposition today 👍 easy to see who has the level head in this debate!

& that's a wrap on a full day at the Nebraska State Capitol 😉 We're still unsure whether Sen Suzanne Geist supports constitutional carry or not🤷‍♂️but more on that to come. God bless America and thanks to those who stood up for the second ammendment today👍
