It's time to address one of the stranger methods Zionists use to defend the 🇮🇱 regime, the so called 3-D test. For those people who are unfamiliar with this: N. Sheransky, a Zionist politician claimed critic on 🇮🇱 is only valid when it doesn't 1. delegitimize, 2. demonize 🇮🇱/1
or shows any 3.double standards. First of all I have to say that there's something disingenuous about the premise of Zionists making 🇵🇸s & ppl in solidarity with 🇵🇸 jump through hoops to prove we're not Antisemitic. It's even more absurd when a big & growing group within /2
the 🇵🇸 solidarity movement is actually Jewish. But for the sake of argument I'm going to assume this is all made in good faith & try to explain why the 3D test is not at all relevant to the discussion. Let's begin with the last D. It's basically whataboutism with a thin veil/3
Palestinians are at the best case systemically discriminated
& oppressed & the majority of'em suffer from a violent, brutal & at times genocidal occupation. They're fighting for their right to exist & Alhamdulillah some ppl support the cause. It's important enough to be an /4
Issue for the international community & providing proof that we are at the same time busy with every injustice in the world is absurd & idiotic. By the way, it's just as stupid when ppl supporting the 🇷🇺 occupation say it. We support 🇵🇸, some fight for other causes too. MYOB /5
The demonization claim is a little trickier because there is a small group of Antisemites within the 🇵🇸 solidarity movement, same as everywhere. Having said that, the facts of what the 🇮🇱 regime has done & is doing are irrefutable. Israel is not a the devil, it is an apartheid /6
state that's committed & continues to commit crimes against humanity on a daily basis. It's not the worst regime in the history of the world, so what? It's a bastion of settler colonialism and ethno-nationalism in a post colonial world & it needs to get with the times & change /7
Delegitimization is also a little complexer. Because if I may generalize, we don't "recognise 🇮🇱s' right to exist" not as is. 🇮🇱 is fundamentally a supremacist country. Ppl like me who've lived their whole lives there know how much it's obsessed with the "demographic threat" /8
That's why Palestinians who were born there & their families lived there for generations are being restricted from marrying other Palestinians. Because of it's inherent ethno-national identity as a 'jewish' state, it will use undemocratic unjust means to remain so & always will/9
We don't want an ethnic cleansing of Jews, but justice, democracy and equal rights for every person between the river and the sea. That means no 'jewish' state, no 🇮🇱. But the same way white ppl are still in 🇿🇦, Jews will remain in the Levant, safe & equal #Israel#palestine /end

Today is the international holocaust remembrance day. Exactly today 78 years ago my grandmother (Sarah) and grandfather (Albert) were freed from Auschwitz, where they lost their parents, aunts, uncles, 3 sisters and an infant child, my uncle Wolf. All murdered by the Nazis /1
When my father was born 5 years later, my grandparents named him Heinrich Wolf so that his murdered brother would be commemorated in his own name. My father died in 2016 & when my son Noam was born we decided to continue this tradition & give him the second name Wolf as well. /2
I think remembering the holocaust is important for all mankind, it needs to be a lesson for all of us about fascism, cruelty, de-humanisation and what it means to be human. I always use this day to tell my students about my family during the holocaust. Hoping it has an effect /3
As a music education student I was introduced relatively early in my studies to #CarlOrff . in the community of music teachers, he is often mentioned with high regards, Music instruments are known as 'Orff instruments', schools & streets all over 🇩🇪 are named after this #Nazi /1
Although his history of cooperation with the NS regime is well documented, I don't think it's very well known and from my experience it's barely ever mentioned. He activily cooperated with the regime and the Hitler-Jugend, sometimes as the official composer of Nazi Germany /2
He composed the music for the abominable 36 Olympics in Berlin, his now well renowned music pedagogy was first tested using the Hitler Jugend. He and his concerts enjoyed the praise & indorsements of the regime while his fellow Jewish composers lost their positions and rights. /3
