ECO-FRIENDLY:

•Require much less water than rice & wheat

•can be grown in rainfed areas without additional irrigation.

•A 2019 study: “wheat & rice have the lowest green water footprints but the highest blue water footprints,while millets were exactly opposite.”⬇️

Without these rights, women cannot fully exercise their AUTONOMY and AGENCY

•upheld the Right to Dignity of a 33-week-old pregnant woman

•allowed for the termination of pregnancy citing serious foetal abnormalities

•quashed the recommendation of the medical board that advised against it due to length of pregnancy
