I apologies for my poor English language skills in advance. I know the UK occasionally uses slang so I'm uncertain if the 133 views and 1 Like are due to improper translation errors from my translator.

Consider this outreach an attempt to seek out an improvement to our method of Public Health communication (aka Fearporn Directors, but also known as professional fearmongers).

Knowing my target audience is a mix of mostly US & UK English readers, does the use of "A&E" for the Brits and "Emergency" for the Americans, translate to everyone as "a healthcare event of probable importance and urgency"?

Is it because all my followers are extremely informed about medical terminology, healthcare settings and general HCW practice to understand "death is the end of an emergency"?
CODE is an emergency.
COD is end of emergency.

Generally speaking, I aim for messaging directed to an audience that is all five years old, being well aware the audience is mostly people with grade-five science education. #ELI5 messaging is difficult. #SciComm requires simplification, which never translates well.
