That day when one of the twins took her first step, Taehyung sent a video to his alpha Jungkook who was having business lunch after securing a new client on a weekend.

Jeongguk only learned socialising when he started building his own business. Now, he’s a great speaker, thanks to Namjoon as well who keeps on pushing him to do this and that and not just hole himself in his office.

It was supposed to be Namjoon’s turn to meet up with the client who invited them for lunch after signing the business proposal.

However, his friend had an overseas trip so he wholeheartedly accepted it even though it’s a weekend where it’s his only time to spend more time with his family. Afterall, Namjoon has done a lot for him so it’s no big deal and Taehyung is very understanding as well.

Taehyung, on the other hand, was busy taking care of the twins with the help of Yujin. Luckily, he wasn’t the jealous type even after seeing his parents spending most of their time with his little sisters.

According to him, they can get a free pass because they are very cute. He also has Yeontan to play with as well so he really doesn’t get bored.

“My love, can you place the camera then press record?”
“Why, appa?”

“I think Yura wants to do something. We have to capture it.”

Yujin happily took his appa’s phone and placed it where Taehyung had instructed him too. After that, he sat beside his appa in case he needed help. Younha was peacefully sleeping in her own crib.

Taehyung held Yura and helped her stand on his own feet. Yujin can’t stop giggling when he sees his little sister stumble over and over again.
“She is so cute, appa!” He squeals.
“You’re also like this, my love. Very determined to stand up on your own.”
“Really? Was I good?”

“Very good, my love. We took a photo after that!” Taehyung shares as he continues to assist his daughter then asks Yujin to sit on the other side.

After multiple attempts, Yura finally took her first step and even though Taehyung was anticipating it, she was still surprised. Yujin was also surprised but he was quick to catch her baby sister from falling.

“Appa! Appa! Did you see that?” Yujin asked while holding Yura and Taehyung was quick to stand and get her daughter.
“Yes, my love! I think she wants to continue walking.”
“Appa! We have to call daddy!”
“Yujin, stop the video first.”

Yujin stood up to take his appa’s phone and handed it to him right away.

Jeongguk was already having lunch with their new client as well as discussion of the new project. It didn’t officially start yet but the client decided that it would be nice to have a talk over lunch.

His phone beeped and since it was on the table, he was able to see that it’s’ from Taehyung. As this isn’t a very formal meeting, he opened his message right away that contains a video. He made sure to mute it first prior to playing it on his lap.

His eyes grew wide when he saw what’s on the video. Yura, his lovely daughter, finally took her first step. He didn’t respond to Taehyung and his goal now is to be home as fast as he could.

“Mr. Jeon, everything alright?” His client asked.

“Actually, I think I need to be home.” That was his response and the client was very understanding after telling him that it was about family. He bid goodbye politely to him before rushing to the parking area. If only he could fly, he would.

“Daddy!” Yujin shouted the moment his alpha father entered their home.
“Yujin! Where’s Yura?”
“He’s with appa in the living room.”

His son took his hand and dragged him to where the two were. Taehyung was really shocked to see him since he didn’t reply to his message.

He thought he hadn’t seen it yet.

“Yura. Out of all the days, why now? Why when I was out?”

Jeongguk took his daughter from his mate and Taehyung was trying his best not to laugh because his husband looks so constipated. BUT, he does understand why he is feeling that.

The alpha was very adamant to see and experience all the firsts of their twins since he wasn’t able to do it with Yujin.

“Tae, can you let her walk again?” He worriedly asks because he knows he shouldn’t be forcing the baby to do anything yet.

“We can try. She is still in the mood. Put her feet on the ground, slowly.”
“What if she fell?”
“It’s fine, Gukkie. The floor is carpeted. Nothing bad will happen to her. I promise.”

Taehyung reassured him and guided Jeongguk on what he should do.

As a good big brother, Yujin volunteered again to wait on the other side like what he did earlier. Taehyung pressed the record button again after letting Jeongguk do everything.

“Be patient, Gukkie.” He reminds him and it seems like luck is on his side. Yura walked three steps before falling on Yujin’s arms. Jeongguk quickly turned to Taehyung with his widest eyes.

“Tae. She walked. I saw it.” Jeongguk said slowly and the omega nodded with a smile.
“Wait… wait. Gukkie, why are you crying?”

Taehyung crawled in front of him and held his hand. He asked him what’s wrong but the alpha just laughed with tears in his eyes.

“I’m… I’m just so happy to see it with my own eyes. When I saw the video, I knew I needed to be home.” He sniffed and Taehyung’s heart melted seeing his husband’s reaction. He places his palms on his cheeks then wipes the tears from his eyes.

“You scared me, Gukkie. I told you. We have all the time in the world and we’ll be seeing many of their firsts together. Okay?”

Jeongguk nods then chuckles because he knows he’s looking like a loser now.

He also knew that Taehyung would tease him sooner or later about this but for now, he’s going to savor this moment.

“Appa!!!” The couple’s attention was caught when Yujin screamed.
“Yujin, what’s wrong?” Taehyung looked at him as well as Yura.
“Yura drooled on me!”

Jeongguk laughed at Yujin’s reaction so the kid furrowed his brow and glared at his alpha father.

“Oh no, my sweet babies. Let me get Yura and clean her up. Change your shirt too, Yujin. Ask your dad to help you.”

“No. I can do it myself!” Yujin glared at his alpha father again before standing up running to his own room.

“Once Yujin grows up, he’s going to tease you a lot too. Believe me.” Taehyung commented.

“I literally ran away from a business lunch. Why are you guys attacking me?” Jeongguk answered back.
“Ohhh, playing the victim. I like that.” His mate said while cleaning up Yura’s face.
“You’ll see later, Kim Taehyung. You’ll see.”

Taehyung laughed out loud this time but was immediately shushed by Yujin.

“Younha is sleeping, appa. Why are you and daddy so noisy?”

Jeongguk looked at Taehyung then smirked. Karma.
