Jasia was an athlete from the childhood. Initially, she played kabaddi and other sports before being introduced to cricket by an athletic coach. But seeing the condition of women’s cricket in J&K, she decided to shift to Punjab. But it wasn’t easy. ⤵️

She struggled her way through to make it to Punjab team. Couldn’t do much initially but some help and motivation from the current Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur changed her life.

“If I would want anyone to bat for my life, it has to be Harman." She told in an interview in 2019.

She kept doing well at the domestic level across formats and made it to the Women’s T20 Challenge back in 2019 but she rarely appeared in the XI.

Jasia hits a long ball and is known for her power hitting. She changed base from Punjab to Rajasthan and had a breakthrough year

She finished among top run-getters in both Senior Women T20 and One-Days this season, getting herself in contention for #WPL. She finally found a bid of 20 lakhs from @DelhiCapitals at the auction. ⤵️

Jasia has five siblings and she, being the eldest, has a lot of responsibilities. This auction amount could mean a lot to her and her family. Also, if she gets a chance to play in #WPL, she could well go further up.
