Yujin has a dilemma at school. Let’s see how Taehyung and Jeongguk can help solve it or will it just cause a conflict between them?

It was Taehyung’s time to pick up Yujin from school and the omega father sensed something was up the moment his son got inside their car.

“My love, something happened?” He asks carefully then tells him not to forget to buckle his seatbelt. The boy just sighed.

“Just annoyed, appa.”

Yujin shared that there’s this one student who has been pestering him since last week. At first, he just ignored it but it became too much.

“Is someone bullying you?” Taehyung worriedly asked.

Yujin already entered middle school and students during this stage of their lives start to try things, rebel or bully other students.
“No. As if she can bully me.”

His omega father chuckled at that upon hearing his response then realised that it was a girl so he continued to listen to his story. The girl is from the other section and she was introduced to him due to his friends from the art club.

From what he heard, the girl really wanted to meet him and he just shrugged when his friends told him about it. After their introduction, the girl, Minji, appears everywhere. She even goes to their classroom during break time or whenever their teacher is not around.

He just really wanted to ignore it but upon observation, the girl seems to have an attitude that’s why he’s even more pissed.

“Well, you have to tell your homeroom teacher if she keeps on distracting you.” Taehyung advised because it’s the right thing to do.

“Yes, appa. She’s just getting on my nerves.”
“Don’t stress yourself too much. Plus, it’s Friday so no classes tomorrow. Don’t think about it, okay?”

Yujin finally smiled thinking about the weekend.

When they got home, Jeongguk had already prepared their dinner and the twins were just playing with Yeontan.

“Yujin oppa!” Younha and Yura ran first to their brother, which made Jeongguk laugh.
“They love their brother more than you.”

The alpha teased Taehyung just smiled at that.

They had their dinner after that and the three kids head to bed since the alpha announced that they will be going to the mall tomorrow as their family day.

“You look extra tired, love.” Jeongguk comments when he lays down beside Taehyung whose eyes were already closed.
“Hmmm. Had a long ass meeting this afternoon and I’m so drained.”
“Want a massage?” Jeongguk offered and his mate immediately opened his eyes to seek confirmation.

“Yes, please. My right shoulder is hurting.”
“Okay, I got you.”

Jeongguk helped him to turn sideways so he could properly massage his right shoulder. It was instant relief for the omega and eventually, he fell asleep.

“Night, love.”
“Hmmm.” That was just his response after Jeongguk kissed him on the cheek.

The family was supposed to go to COEX but Taehyung suggested going to Lotte World instead so the girls can enjoy more. The twins were so excited when they heard that as well as Yujin.

“Younha, Yura. We will only ride the carousel once, okay? Let’s enjoy the other attractions as well.” Yujin told the girls firmly because the last time they went,

the two rode the carousel four times along with Yujin and their brother got dizzy so he was not able to explore the whole theme park.

Lotte World is family friendly so it’s very safe for them to go plus the rides for kids are indoor too. They also buy drinks here and there too.

“Dad, you and appa can go enjoy too. Let’s meet after twenty minutes for churros.” Yujin offered which the couple really appreciated. They usually observe and wait for the kids each and every after ride but now, Yujin gives them leisure time.

“Okay, text us when you’re at the churros shop.”
“Yeah, I will. Appa has been eyeing the frog headband we saw earlier.”

Jeongguk made a mental note of what his son told him.

At first, Taehyung was confused why his husband is dragging him somewhere but he then explained that Yujin will watch over the girls for 20 minutes.

“Really?”
“Yes, let’s go!”

Jeongguk brought Taehyung to the souvenir shop right away to buy the frog headbands that he wanted and his husband was so excited. He wore it right away and also put the other one on Jeongguk’s head.

“Gukkie, we look so cute!” He giggles and Jeongguk looked so happy seeing his mate happy too. It was just a simple headband but his smile was contagious. He gotta do everything and anything to always see that smile.

“Hey! I said let’s take a selca. Why are you staring at me?” Taehyung nudged him.
“You look even more pretty when you smile.” Jeongguk can’t help but compliment him.

“Gukkie! We are not teenagers, okay!” His mate responded but obviously enjoyed the compliment as he was smiling even more and his ears were red. They took a selca after that and sent it to their group chat with Yujin.

After that, they used their fast pass for the Flume Ride so they did not have to queue for a long time. They only have 20 minutes to spare.

“We have to look good in the photo.” Taehyung was determined as they made their way to the ride.
“Then hold onto me.”
“Oh, I definitely will.”

When the couple met up at the Churros Shop, Yujin asked right away if they enjoyed it. Jeongguk thanked his son for giving that short time to them. The twins can't stop talking about the World Monorail. They were able to see the whole indoor theme park from above.

“Oh my! My twins are so brave. Isn’t it high?” Taehyung asked.
“Yup, appa! That one!” Younha pointed at the moving train above and Jeongguk exaggeratingly gasped.
“That was so high! Were you not scared?”
“No, daddy! It was amazing! Let’s ride again next time!”

“Okay, we can ride next time. My girls are so brave huh, just like daddy.”

The twins giggled at the compliment while Yujin and Taehyung were just laughing.

Few minutes later, Taehyung decided to queue to get some churros but when he stood up, there were two girls who called Yujin. He assumed that they were his schoolmates but when he saw his son’s reaction, he seemed uncomfortable.

“Hi Yujin! It was nice seeing you here.” The girl greeted.
“Oh. Yeah, hi.” Yujin timidly responded and he looked at his omega father.
“Are you with your family?” The girl asked again.
“Uh yeah. I’m with my dads and my twin sisters.”

He briefly responded again and Jeongguk looked confused.
“Hello Mr. Jeon, hello girls. I’m Minji. This is my friend, Jinhee.” The girl introduced himself a bit enthusiastically.

When Taehyung heard the name, he realised that it was the girl that his son was talking about last night. He walked near Jeongguk and whispered that he should stand up to order churros with him so he can tell him about it.

“Uh.. we’re actually about to eat and go home. Nice to see you here.” Yujin said right away and he hopes that this girl can get a hint that he doesn’t want to deal with her in the theme park.
“Actually, we’re buying churros–”

Jeongguk announced and Yujin panicked so he looked straight into his alpha father’s eyes then shook his head. Taehyung was also discreetly whispering not to invite them.

The alpha father was really confused as he thinks it’s a bit disrespectful plus one of the girls looks happy to meet Yujin.

“I’m buying churros. You girls, go grab some seats. It’s my treat.”

The twins also look uncomfortable too as Minji is pinching their cheeks.

Yujin was so annoyed that his alpha father said that. Didn’t he notice that he doesn’t want to be around these girls? Also, they’re having a family day so it means only the five of them.

“Stop pinching my cheeks.” Yura said with a pout.
“Oh my god, you’re so cute.” Minji squealed.
“Stop pinching my cheeks too!” Younha added so Yujin whispered to his little sisters to endure it a bit for their oppa.

When they went back to the car, Yujin was really so annoyed so he just sat quietly at the backseat along with the twins. Jeongguk could not understand what’s wrong with what he did and since they’re still out in the public, Taehyung couldn’t open a discussion yet.

“Yujin, what was that?” Jeongguk asked but the kid didn’t respond.
“I’m talking to you. Why were you acting like that earlier? Those girls are from your school, right?” The alpha father asked again as they finally made their way out of the parking lot.

Taehyung was looking at Yujin through the rear view mirror and his son was just looking through the window.
“Aren’t you going to answer me?” He asked again, voice a bit louder so Taehyung gently placed his hand on his arm.
“I don’t like the girl.” Yujin suddenly responded.

“But it doesn’t mean you have to be disrespectful? You can just pretend since we’re outside. We cannot just tell her and her friend to go away.”

Jeongguk explained and Yujin just rolled his eyes to express his annoyance.

“You have to learn how to act properly when you are outside. You’re going to be an adult in a few years. Also, how would I know that you are not fond of that girl?”
“Didn’t appa tell you? I’ve been sending both of you signals.”

He answered back, which didn’t sit right with Jeongguk.
“Yeah, Gukkie. I’ve been trying to tell you discreetly.”
“Well, I didn’t hear it clearly.”
“It’s because you didn’t listen. If you only consider the looks I gave you, if you only listen to appa then you would have known.”

The twins look so scared since this is the first time they see their father and oppa fighting. They couldn’t even understand why even though they were listening.

“Don’t talk to me like that.”

“Why can’t I talk to you like this? That girl. She has been pestering me and he is getting on my nerves. She is not nice. She said she likes me and I wouldn’t mind if she is nice. But she is not, she acts superior and picks on her classmates."

"She wouldn’t leave me alone even after telling her nicely.”

Jeongguk was not able to respond, not only because of what Yujin had said but also because of the way he talked to him. He didn’t know about it but he really didn’t hear Taehyung well earlier too.

“Yujin told that to me yesterday only, so I wasn’t able to share it with you yet. I didn’t think we’ll encounter the girl today. The girl is making him uncomfortable at school.”

Jeongguk just sighed and didn’t talk anymore.

The rest of the trip was awkward and when they reached home, Yujin went straight to his room and shut the door with a bang.

Taehyung didn’t like what he did but he understood why he was acting that way.

“Daddy, oppa said he is not hungry.” Yura said when the twins invited their brother to have dinner.
“It’s okay, girls. Go sit and eat now.” Taehyung smiled and helped the girls with their meals.

Jeongguk was also quiet and the omega knows that he’s overthinking about his argument with his firstborn earlier.

“Don’t worry about Yujin. He’ll come out later when he gets hungry.” Taehyung held his hand and gave him a reassuring smile.

When the girls were asleep, the couple was able to finally talk freely.

“I don’t like the way he answered back to me but I admit I did something wrong too.” Jeongguk started, then leaned back on the couch.

“Hey, don’t be too hard on yourself. Yujin is already a teenager. You’ve been at that stage so they can be a bit stubborn at times.”

“Yeah, I know but I swear, if I really had known then I wouldn’t really ask the girls to join us. Of course, I don’t want Yujin to be uncomfortable. It’s my fault.”

Taehyung moved closer and put his weight on Jeongguk then wrapped his arm around his body.

“I know, Gukkie, that's why I’m telling you not to be hard on yourself.”
“Did I fuck up again?”
“Hey, none of that. Both of us are first timers in raising a teenager, okay?”
“I don’t want us to fight. I don’t want Yujin to go to sleep angry at me.”

“Maybe he’s not angry. Just annoyed but I’m sure he’s also thinking about his actions.”
“I want to talk to him. I’ll apologise.”
“Okay but he has to learn how to apologise to you too, Jeongguk. That’s important too.”

Jeongguk nods.

Jeongguk exhaled deeply before knocking at the door and entering Yujin’s room.

“I said I don’t want to eat.” The boy said without lifting his head as he was busy doing digital drawing.
“I bought your favourite chicken and cheese balls.”

Jeongguk placed the food on his table then sat on the bed. Yujin stopped drawing but still didn’t turn to his alpha father. Few minutes later, his father gently takes the gadget from him as well as the pen, indicating that he wants to have a talk.

“Yujin–”
“Dad, I’m sorry.”

Jeongguk was really surprised at that. He didn’t expect that Yujin would apologise right away. Afterall, he’s the reason why his son is mad at him. He was looking straight at him then all of a sudden, tears started streaming down his face.

“Oh Yujin.” His dad pulled him for a hug and started rubbing his back.

“I want to talk to you to apologise, Yujin. Dad is sorry about what happened earlier. I failed to notice that the girl is making you uncomfortable.” Jeongguk finally said and admitted his mistake.

He can feel Yujin shaking his head on his chest and telling him that it’s not his fault.

“No, Yujin. I was at fault too and when you realise a mistake, you should apologise and that’s what I’m doing.”

“I was disrespectful to you earlier, dad. I’m sorry. I’m just really annoyed.”

Jeongguk nodded and told him that he understood.

“What’s important now is we both realised our mistakes. Both of us apologised too and I am not mad, okay?”
“Really?”

“Promise. I’m not. If she continues to pester you, tell your adviser then tell us. Is that a deal?”
“Yes, dad. I’m really sorry. The twins heard us fighting too.” Jeongguk can really see the guilt in his eyes but the he reassured him that there is nothing to worry about.

It’s not his responsibility to explain it to his sisters, afterall.
“Are you hungry?”

Yujin shyly nods so Jeongguk told him that they can eat together so he won’t be having dinner alone.

“Can appa join too?”
“No problem. I’ll call him. Bring the food outside, then.”

Taehyung was nervously waiting in the bed. He hopes that the father and son will be okay tonight or else he’ll be sad. He knew that both of them will overthink about what happened so it will be better if the conflict will be resolved.

Yujin is a nice kid but now that he’s entering puberty and he’s also getting exposed more, his attitude will most likely change sooner or later.

He immediately looked through the door when the knob clicked and his heart hurt when he saw Jeongguk’s face.

“Still mad?” Taehyung asked carefully and was ready to comfort his husband when Jeongguk suddenly smiled wide. The omega was confused.
“We talked."

"We admitted our mistakes and apologised to each other. Your baby cried again.” Taehyung pouted when he heard that Yujin cried but at least, they are okay now.
“Your face.. I thought he’s still mad at you.”

“Well, he said he wants the three of us to eat the chicken and cheese balls I bought.”
“Really?” Taehyung put away the blanket and was about to stand up.
“Yeah. He said we can eat those if you give me a kiss.”
“Yujin will never say that.”
“Then no chicken I guess.”

Jeongguk shrugs with a smile. He turns around to open the door again, ready to head out when Taehyung suddenly stops him.

“He didn’t say that but it doesn’t mean I won’t give it to you.” Taehyung leaned closer and gave Jeongguk a kiss on the lips then eventually giggled.

“I think the chicken can wait.” Jeongguk whispers.
“Nope! Let’s head out and eat with Yujin.”

Taehyung laughed at Jeongguk’s reaction before heading out to eat together with their firstborn.

Nevertheless, Jeongguk was so relieved that the conflict had been resolved and Yujin was so understanding about it.

Guess it’s hard to mess with a teenager. Lesson learned.
